That's why I had wolf hybrids for my last 2 dogs...they rarely if ever bark...and woe-be-unto-you if you're a stranger who winds up in my back yard unknown to the dog.
Quoting: Rael Wolf hybrids best dogs ever. Mine (150 lb. half G.S./half wolf) was same way - rarely barked, would just watch & silently attack. I didn't think of all hybrids being like that but makes sense considering the wild wolves. Interesting.
