weed isn't what it used to be, hashes neither. i never got panic attacks, but when i smoke today's pot or hash, my senses go in overload and it makes me breath heavy.
when i smoke oldschool outdoor-grown pot, from an original cannabis-strain, i don't suffer that much. but most of the stuff they sell in europe has extremely high thc-content, and has been grown as artificially as possible (led lights or grow lamps keep the plant in an unnatural cycle, insecticides, growth enhancers, ...).
just give up smoking; i almost never smoked during the day in my life, only during the evening and at parties. but i gave it up almost entirely some ten years ago. since then i smoke once every three months or so - when my mind needs it.
a lot of people seem to develop an allergic reaction to weed, when they smoke too much. my body clearly said no (even merely touching weed gave a small reaction), so i gave it up.
