Eyewitness Nick Jones, who was stopped on the motorway for more than an hour and a half, told BBC News that police warned him to stay in his car, keep his windows closed and not to use air conditioning.
"I was beginning to feel a little uneasy," he said.

It will definitely make people wary of travelling on public transport !.....how many more coaches will end up pulling over cos some one freaks out when another passenger gets something out of a bag.....you are pretty vunerable whilst travelling via public transport

In all fairness though, the police are just doing their job, i understand what you are saying but being un co-operative would just scare everybody, even if your intentions were just to want to go home

Dude, i have seen people doing that on buses and trains before.

I have also seen people making a splif, i have seen people smoking crack and a couple i suspected who preping heorin.

Complacency. I've travelled Megabus before and was sat next to a 'ethnic' woman with OCD and intent on cleaning her hands every 5 minutes. Luckily for me I understand this condition but it can be easy to see how anyone else (especially right-wing minded) can misconstrue her actions as a possible 'attack.' Especially when the msm puts the fear of god into people by making them think anyone who does anything usual is a threat.
