TSA now drunk with power...Will be testing drinks as you wait at the gate. random chcking of people on transportation connected to airports

so lets see here you can not take drink through the TSA check points, you must buy them by the gate...so now the TSA will be checking those drinks as well?
is this just a power trip?
the TSA will not say why they are doing this testing!

The TSA would not say what they are testing for or why they are doing it, but travelers say they have a right to know.

so after they test the drink you just bought behind their check point...do they replace it with a new one or do you have to buy yet another drink....so the whole stupid process can start all over.

In a bizarre and insufficiently explained expansion of the TSA’s power, the federal agency is now demanding the right to test drinks purchased by passengers after they have already passed through airport security.

the TSA has also announced they will be randomly checking peoples bag who are there picking passenger up after their flights. people who are walking around the parking lots. people who never were going to enter the airport.
but this is still not enough power to grab for TSA

“We’re doing patrols in the parking lot with dogs, we’re even going as far out to the train station because the train station is connected to the airport here and we have guys walking around the train station, walking around the rental cars, we’re inspecting cars coming into the parking garage, I mean we’ve fully expanded – we’re no longer just at the gate and just at the security checkpoint,” the whistleblower said.

just think you too can soon have a TSA check point on our block...well heck people on our block just might go to the airport...so they would be connected to the airport.
