After having watched it for like the 20th time in 2 days, I think it means we (collectively as the human race) have run out of options.
Time for something new perhaps? or a reboot of our civilization - the last thing of note was the pyramids crumbling and the sun expanding. Obviously, I am wrong, but hey.

link to www.coasttocoastam.com] with Art Bell , he and his guest Charles Seife a fascinating man , stated that the new cosmology theory states that there is a rip in the fabric of the universe. That dark matter has caused the rip, and that the rip physically tears apart every thing at an atom / molecular level. He states that as we all know many of the stars in the night sky are no longer stars, their energy burned out or they were otherwise destroyed.
He goes on to say that again we see the light from these stars because they are so far away that the time it takes to reach us is perhaps millions or billions of years. He states that in fact the universe is getting quite empty from this dark energy ripping apart everything in it's path, so not only does their light no longer reach us, but in fact they are no longer in existence in their solid form. The dark matter leaves no solid matter, everything that has been held together by gravity or the Strong Force has been robbed of this encapsulating force and is now ripped apart and disjointed leaving free floating sheer energy devoid of compressed matter.
He further states that this ripping apart happens in a split second, that you can be standing outside looking at the stars and without warning notice that the stars are disappearing right in front of your eyes. You will see just dark sky where moments before, the sky was full of stars, and within seconds our planet and all that is on it rips apart at the molecular or atom level...
He scared the bejesus out of Art Bell and me. Wow, so instead of the rubber band theory where the universes move away from each other due to the rubber band stretching so far until it breaks and the universes float so far away from each other and their energy source that they become so cold that life dies.. Or the other theory about everything returning to that single point of existence , the crunch theory , the existence that was present at the moment of the big bang, everything will be compressed or crunched back to a dot.
