So if they are not close to the front door, or where the kids play, I say, just leave them alone. But if they are too close for comfort - I'd try this... Do it after the sun goes down, they'll be asleep and dead before they know it. Do it during the day and you'll get stung a lot. |

It's just how they launch into flight to avoid hitting each other or damaging their nest...but if your too close under them they will wind up dropping directly on you. |

AND only kill the wasps that are in attack mode, since they do serve a purpose otherwise. So I would say use a natural lemon scented soap, after dark, if you are going to attempt this thanks to all replies! |
