Nothing is stronger and tastes better.. BTW just for the record, I HATE Guiness and anyone who likes it.. |

Sam Adams cream stout is pretty good, so is the porter. It's a tough call on Stout vs Becks dark though. I mean...I really-really like Beck's dark. A nice bottle of Beck's dark and some German Chocolate....YUM! "I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." I agree Guinness is a serious bust. I think they changed the recipe because I don't remember it being so shitty 20 years ago. Everything Sierra Nevada makes is good. Have you tried Dogfish "Raison D'Etre"? It is a unique, super rich complex beer with like 10% alcohol? |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 18013771 07/06/2012 02:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow...some of these I have never even heard of...but they sound yummy! Quoting: Damrod I've been outta the circle for awhile. As far as American brews, Sam Adams was a fav of mine. Lots of different flavors and seasonals. Some good, some not so good. The cranberry Lambic they put out at Christmas is pretty interesting. Blue Moon brewery (small guys)is not too far from here, a lot of locals swear by it but I have never tried it. Blue Moon original belgian style white is decent for the price. They just came out with a new belgian style but have not tried it. |

[link to www.ratebeer.com] even more than 9. The higher abv versions are quite good, you gotta learn to appreciate the lighter versions.
