The economy is heading in the right direction for ensuring that Obama gets defeated in November. The economy is the biggest concern of voters and defeating Obama is "right" so the economy is going in the "right" direction - into the ditch.

-record low poverty rates
-every segment of the population becomeing more prosperous
-a budget surplus projected to eliminate the National Debt in 20 years


What Bush accomplished in his 8 years:

- two recessions
-doubled the unemployment rate
-increased the poverty rate
-wiped out the budget surplus
-doubled the National Debt
-left us with a trillion dollar annual deficit
-a complete collapse of the financial system
-unemployment skyrocketed out of control
-750,000 people were thrown out of work in a single month

FACT: Obama inherited the WORST ECONOMY since the Great Depression, with unemployment on pace to reach 20% by the end of his first year.


What Obama did in his three years so far:

-stemmed the tide of out of control recession in only a few months
-rate of jobs loss improved every month after the stimulus was passed
-unemployment began declining a year after Obama took office
-over three million new jobs have been created
-businesses are now reporting record profits
-the stock market has nearly doubled in value
-economy has improved every month for the past two straight years

When McCain said it, it cost him the election. He was leading in the polls right up until he said that. Then he dropped down, never to recover. Hopefully, Obama will experience the same outcome.

1-Obama did not stem the recession... not in a few months, not ever.

2-The numbers get revised every moth and the numbers are revised in a negative direction.

3-Obama hired, fired and rehired the census workers on a daily basis to make it look like new jobs were being created.

4-See #3. Also, 3 million jobs is not enough to keep pace with increased work force population. Many of the jobs are minimum wage and/or part time. As a result withholding taxes have declined.

5-It can always be said that some company is earning record profits. This is not an accomplishment of Obama's. Bankruptcies are up, as are home foreclosures. Last month more people went onto SS disability than were hired!

6-The money supply has tripled but the stock market has only doubled, In other words the stock market's real value is down by 1/3 or about 8,000.

7-I don't know what planet you're living on, but the economy has not improved, especially when the tripling of the money supply is factored in.
