da vinci was a working (professional) artist and as a result painted (or sculpted/designed/engineered/built.......) what his paying customers wanted. regardless of the medium, thats what we (professional) artists do.

some time ago i learned if you believe something strongly enough, you will no doubt find evidence to support that belief. it does not matter if that evidence is entirely imagined or not.

so, stare at something long enough and you will see what you want and not what is actually in front of you.

There is no resemblance of the painting to this Nile image, none, only maybe slightly and that is not good enough, if it were meant to be so it would be as accurate as tracing and it is not. This is not it.

I can tell who did not watch the video before they commented.

Most of it was watched and it is only similarities, it is not the truth. Gullibility is very true on these boards.

I skimmed the last page from phone, but did not see the ac reply back about their comments on the tribe of dan and their claims of the merovingians being the seed of satan...and why they believe this. I hope you don't mind if it is discussed if they return a reply? I am a descendant of the king of franks...the lines this ac speaks of, so I have motive for asking.

Not as such.
The original was painted over many times by "helpful" and not very competent artists who were just doing their best.
it was a custom for painters to copy the works of acknowledged masters as practice, so there are a few contemporary copies/personal interpretations in existence so that it's known what the painting looked like when it was originally done.
Gardner also systematically debunks-with evidence- Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code.

The painting clearly doesn't show the Magdalene, or that knife.
Geez, you know check the book out yourself, read it and make up your own mind.
