Europe at the time of the Islamic incursion was a tapestry of countries at different levels of development.
Celtic Ireland produced the Book of Kells in the late 7th century-an exquisite artwork.
There were no black people depicted in the manuscript, and no Moorish influence.
Etc.
Personally I'm indifferent to skin colour, like most of the white people I know.
