I disagree with your interpretation, the whore of is Rome.
Quoting: wiede 19315691 It's America, read the book "The end of America" by John Price, his argument is unimpeachable. When the bible refers to Babylon as a a City, it means a City-State as in Rome. For example, when talking news heads start off the news by saying, "Washington today voted to..." It's not Washington D.C., they are talking about, but the city that it represents. America is represented by several cities. John Price is offering a kindle version for 99 cents (the lowest Amazon will allow because he wants everyone to read this. I highly recommend it. I don't follow man, I follow God. That person is only doing it for the money. Jesus stated in the word that Christians can not serve GOD and MONEY (Luke 16:13). Jesus also stated through the word that there will be many false prophets and teachers who goes against God's word (1 John 4:1). You have to keep what is written and not go beyond what is written. God/Bible warns not to add or subtract from it (Revelation 22:18-19). The bible does not mentioned anything about the AMERICA, but it does mentioned about the King of the North who will cause desolation.
