Just keep in mind that some on the other side, have, as well, considered your alternative,

It's just that the top doesn't care about anyone below. So when you think you are getting your perks, it is an illusion to feel safe in number and behind the curtain, because when the system starts dying due to cancer, the guys at the top won't care much about you....they will sell you down the river, band over time, you would have been better off in a fiscally conservative system. We have considered your perspective, we've just come to different conclusions.

Just something to keep in mind that's all.

Peace and wish you the best in whatever you decide on doing

How unfortunate for some rulers when men, women, and children continue to think... Keep repeating the lies loud enough and long enough and just maybe the people will start to believe the lies again and good luck with that...finding your energy open until mars becomes raging aries...

Everyone capable should get out and work, pay or not.

LMAO. You're joking right? Unless you're a money-grubbing robber baron corporate boss, then I guess you're serious.

Aww! How quaint! You all still believe that there is a difference between what the two parties do!

Not to be confused with what the two parties say.

I know, this is tricky.

IOW: you know the statistics are correct, it's common sense. You know the Dems stand for this proposition: "Elect us and we'll take money away from those that produce and give it to you."

But you don't want anyone else to figure this out, so you'll make the asinine statements above, which do not rise to the level of a logical argument.

I love how Conservatives frame paying taxes as if you are stealing their hard earned money. Taxes are what you pay to be an American, to live in a civilized society that is democratic and offers opportunity, and where there's an infrastructure that has been paid for by previous taxpayers. This is a huge infrastructure. The highway system, the Internet, the TV system, the public education system, the power grid, the system for training scientists - vast amounts of infrastructure that we all use, which has to be maintained and paid for. Taxes are your dues - you pay your dues to be an American. In addition, the wealthiest Americans use that infrastructure more than anyone else, and they use parts of it that other people don't. The federal justice system, for example, is nine-tenths devoted to corporate law. The Securities and Exchange Commission and all the apparatus of the Commerce Department are mainly used by the wealthy. And we're all paying for it.

They ignore the universal distribution of goods and, like idols, treat themselves as gods with absolute control over money -- denying the true God who gives to the world for all to be shared.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19365423

In other words they're greedy!

Make it difficult for others to get a business loan (thru lobbying/legislation) and avoid competition, cut wages (and insanely boost his own bottom line in the process) and shift money offshore to further avoid paying for roads, firefighters and police officers and shift all the burden onto the middle class with higher consumer prices.

Sounds about right.

It's no surprise. People should look at the cities with Democrat mayors, i.e. Detroit, New Orleans, etc. Those cities with Demoncrat mayors for decades are dying and only keeping the citizens on the Democrat plantation. Yet, the sheeple elect the same party over and over again, despite having seen no improvement.
 Quoting: truthwillsetyoufreeagain

Yes. Virtually every city under perennial Democrat control is a filthy hellhole.

Re: What a coincidence... "UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DROPPED IN EVERY STATE THAT ELECTED..."
Unemployment rates drop in every state after a while....because the benefits run out.

That's why Uncle Sambo-bama loves to use those figures. The fact is that less than 55 million Amerikans are gainfully employed no matter which president the banksters have in their pockets.

This is carried out BY DESIGN to crush the middle class and bring about total dependency on government oppression and rule.

Agenda 21

The wealthy are not effect...they are the ones behind this...that's how they keep the power and high technologies to themselves.

what a coincidence, republicans would have us shop from walmart, destroy green power, and fight in pointless wars!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18388824

Seems to me Obama is destroying green power. Every "green" energy company he gives billions of taxpayer dollars to goes bankrupt, after the usual culprits, like Al Gore, make of with a few mil.

Oh, and the part about paying taxes (so government can give it to someone else) being my duty, chew on this: the first direct transfer payments -- that is where government takes one persons money and gives it to someone else, happened during Franklin Socialist Roosevelt's administration. It is contrary to the ideas of the Founding.

Re: What a coincidence... "UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DROPPED IN EVERY STATE THAT ELECTED..."
Teddy Roosevelt: "The Roman Republic fell, not because of the ambition of Caesar or Augustus, but because it had already long ceased to be in any real sense a republic at all. When the sturdy Roman plebeian, who lived by his own labor, who voted without reward according to his own convictions, and who with his fellows formed in war the terrible Roman legion, had been changed into an idle creature who craved nothing in life save the gratification of a thirst for vapid excitement, who was fed by the state, and who directly or indirectly sold his vote to the highest bidder, then the end of the republic was at hand, and nothing could save it. The laws were the same as they had been, but the people behind the laws had changed, and so the laws counted for nothing.”

Taxes slow the velocity of money.

We would rather have 100 people pay a penny on 100 transactions then 1 person pay a dollar on a single transaction.

Lower taxes increase the velocity of money and increase tax revenue.

The faster money flows the better for everyone involved including the tax man.

Still just a distraction form the real issue in this post and that is the "labor pool" is at a 31 year low!
I'm only human, it's my biggest flaw.

We must all realize a sink a chair and a pillow are all luxuries of home and a soldiers helmet takes the place of all three.
