So when you think you are getting your perks, it is an illusion to feel safe in number and behind the curtain, because when the system starts dying due to cancer, the guys at the top won't care much about you....they will sell you down the river,band over time, you would have been better off in a fiscally conservative system. Taxes are your dues - you pay your dues to be an American. In addition, the wealthiest Americans use that infrastructure more than anyone else, and they use parts of it that other people don't. The federal justice system, for example, is nine-tenths devoted to corporate law. The Securities and Exchange Commission and all the apparatus of the Commerce Department are mainly used by the wealthy. And we're all paying for it. They ignore the universal distribution of goods and, like idols, treat themselves as gods with absolute control over money -- denying the true God who gives to the world for all to be shared. In other words they're greedy! Make it difficult for others to get a business loan (thru lobbying/legislation) and avoid competition, cut wages (and insanely boost his own bottom line in the process) and shift money offshore to further avoid paying for roads, firefighters and police officers and shift all the burden onto the middle class with higher consumer prices. Sounds about right. |

We would rather have 100 people pay a penny on 100 transactions then 1 person pay a dollar on a single transaction. Lower taxes increase the velocity of money and increase tax revenue. The faster money flows the better for everyone involved including the tax man. Still just a distraction form the real issue in this post and that is the "labor pool" is at a 31 year low! I'm only human, it's my biggest flaw. We must all realize a sink a chair and a pillow are all luxuries of home and a soldiers helmet takes the place of all three. |
