My Mac is running perfectly, and has for over 2 years now.. im not concerned, but you never know.

I say yippy skippy. My internet bill will go from 90 a month to 10. Did the government forget to tell you? All access, all the time. We paid and now it is free because they want to know what we are doing, all the time. I have nothing to hide besides my overdue internet bill which will be wiped clean at 12:01 eastern. Woo Hoo!!!

What's in my drawer is none of your business. It's a simple concept. If it doesn't involve you personally, then things that I do on my computer, in my house, or in my life are off limits. You're on a need to know basis and you don't need to know. Capish?

The real story here is that the FBI has wiretapped thousands of computers without probable cause or a warrant, both inside and outside the United States.

I think it is very chartable of the fbi to allow people to use their servers with their virus infected computers and do it without even needing to be asked.

Technically ANY program or OS runs like a virus, even Microsoft Operating systems because without them your pc wouldn't be any different than a common kitchen electric can opener.

The FBI probably had DNSchanger designed from the ground up all by themselves just so they could use their Carnivore program to monitor everyone.
The 2 hackers they jailed were probably designing the DNS changer virus FOR the FBI, then had to be silenced until a later date if they even live to ever get out of prison. I'm betting they will never see daylight again.

For those that have tested to make sure their pc is not going to have a DNS issue...Don't panic but.......

Just be AWARE...all along the route of internet traffic there are many many routers and servers that may still be vulnerable due to some lazy ass rack hosts or server owners.

If you have tested and are clean of the DNSchanger don't begin tearing your modems or computers apart because you might just be hitting a dead server or router on the internet data path. Take a chill pill and wait for the lazy people to get off their behinds and fix their routers and servers.

Of course I don't have to worry about that. Since my OS is based on a system that, essentially, is the internet: Linux.

In the early days of the internet, Bill Gates said the internet was just a fad. In fact, you had to buy extra software to connect your windoze system to the internet.

Linux, however, is designed using the same paradigm as Unix. TCP/IP was designed so that Unix systems could communicate. You could argue the opposite, however, its like the chicken and the egg. Then, when talking about Microsoft, it like comparing them to worms. Microsoft is a different breed and never really designed around TCP/IP (or TCP/IP around it). Whatever you consider, Microsoft was designed around commercialism and corporate greed. Its no mistake that its slow, imprecise, difficult to work with and insecure.

Unix was designed to be fast, secure and reliable. Three things that never even entered into the Microsoft bizness plan. Is it any wonder that Microsoft is always a problem when there are security or virus concerns to deal with.

But, the problem with Linux is that you have to be smarter than the machine to get it installed. Fortunately, I am. Most people are not.

So, at the risk of sounding stupid: Is there anything special I need to do? I have a pretty new laptop that was an Xmas present from my hubby - HP Pavilion Dv7-6b63us. Windows 7, only thing I added to it is MS Office 2010 and AVG anti virus (which seemed to be the best free one I could find). Thanks in Advance!

Ok,heres what is really going on they say that the internet was attacked and the courts told them to set up a alternate internet for us until everyone fixed their computers then they would switch back to the original internet, if you didnt get fixed then you would lose your internet because they are cutting your safety line to their safe internet.

Heres the truth they are cutting the real internet monday and rerouting everything through the FBI internet, they will be able to monitor everything we do, control everything we do on the internet.
