I have studied biblical astronomy/astrology for many years. Are you familiar with E.W. Bullinger's book, "Witness of the Stars" written in 1893? [link to philologos.org] I believe this heavenly "sign" is of great significance. [link to www.youtube.com]

As you are already aware, Venus is the "Bright and Morning Star" and symbolic for Jesus. Jupiter or "Jove" as it used to be called, is symbolic for God or Jehovah. This astronomical event is occurring in the constellation of Taurus where on July 15, Venus and Al Debaran, (the "eye of Taurus") will be in conjunction with Jupiter overhead. The event also involves the "Hyades" cluster of stars. Bullinger's book, (The Third Book) linked above describes what Taurus and this particular event means. In short, "His Second Coming", Taurus = "Messiah, the coming Judge of all the earth". My husband brought the NASA video to my attention a few days ago. Had I not been studying biblical astronomy/astrology for these many years, I would not have noticed or understood that this is an important "sign from God". Therefore, making the Venus transit even more significant because it preceded this event. Please let me know what you think of this. I would appreciate any comments.

Carmel, the first atomic explosion was detonated at the Trinity site in New Mexico. Also, the prophet Elijah called down fire from heaven on Mt. Carmel.

This is another slant on the parable of the 10 bridesmaids (Matt. 25:1-13). The setting there is also the time of the 2nd Coming. And again, the Church is not a bridesmaid. The Church is the bride and could not be refused admittance to her own wedding banquet.

The five who were excluded were tribulation believers who had lost their salvation either by not obeying God’s commandments or by not remaining faithful to Jesus or both. This is indicated by their lack of sufficient oil, which is symbolic of the Holy Spirit.


Since the Holy Spirit is sealed within the Church as a deposit guaranteeing our salvation (Ephes 1:13-14), the bridesmaids who were excluded from the banquet have to represent a post rapture group from whom the Holy Spirit had departed for lack of faith.

Many are invited, but few are chosen (Matt 22:1-14). God doesn’t desire that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). But whether it’s the Bride or the wedding guests, the only righteousness that gains us admission into His presence is that which is given us as a gift and accepted in faith (Rom 3:21-22).

The rapture isn't going to happen until the very end. That's what I believe anyway, and I feel that's what the Bible also teaches.
