Quoting: Doom Lover It's looking like an October strike, or spring 2013 if polls indicate Romney might edge out Obama... two things will have happened by then, they will reach nuclear threshold and their facilities will be immune to a conventional attack. |

humanitech User ID: 19410071 United Kingdom 07/09/2012 11:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A position paper obtained by The Times of Israel, understood to have been used by Iran’s negotiators at last week’s technical-level talks with the P5+1 powers in Istanbul, makes plain the Tehran regime’s unyielding rejection of international efforts to negotiate safeguards and restrictions that would prevent Iran attaining a nuclear weapons capability. Quoting: Doom Lover Far from indicating Iranian readiness for a suspension or scaling back of its nuclear program, indeed, the document, made available by an informed source on condition of anonymity, includes references to Iran’s expansion plans. “Facing constant threats, we need a back up facility to safeguard our enrichment activities,” it states at one point, when discussing the Fordow enrichment facility, the underground complex built beneath a mountain near Qom where Iran carries out its 20% uranium enrichment. A later point, related to the Tehran Research Reactor (TRR), refers to the need “for at least 4 other research reactors because of the territorial extent of Iran and the short lifetime of medical isotopes.” The next clause in the document declares an Iranian ambition “to sell fuel complexes to other countries.” [link to www.timesofisrael.com] Yada Yada Yada..I love it that all the corrupt countries with nukes hate (or perhas are shit scared of) the little people having them too. what a fair and balanced world we live eh? GWB was stupid for calling out Iran in his "Axis of Evil" speach. They have had ten years of notice to prepare for war. They notice that NATO usually doesnt declare war with nuclear equipped countries like North Korea and Pakiustan, so they think the only chance they have is if they can join the club too. I dont mean everything I say to be literal. I just like to throw around ideas, and play devil's advocate. I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use. -Galileo Galilei |

There's a good chance they don't understand the consequences and would blow away some kid they didn't like without stopping to think about it. :) like Israel is way grown up am i right? Look, it's like this. The US made one first. Then they tried it out (like any kid with a new toy), and went "holy shit, this is insane. DON'T TRY THIS!". Then Israel stole the idea, and made one of their own, but haven't used it (beyond testing, ofc). Then these Iran guys go "man, if I had one of these, I would totally target people I don't like, but I don't have one (sadface)". Now they are almost to the point of having it. They've already bragged about what they want to do with it, (like a kid promising he's going to get his dad's gun and shoot the kid he doesn't like), so why on earth would we let him have one? That would just be stupid. ;) |
