What translation are you using that says burnt brass?
None of the translations actually say burnt brass.
Some do say burnished brass, but that means POLISHED BRASS.

The thing is when I started this thread all I said was "African americans are gods chosen people" I dont know much about the bible seeing as how ive never read it in its entirety. I believe were chosen in general. We went through the struggle in the physical to be rewarded in the spiritual. BUT David is a direct descendent of Jacob and both he and Esau are described in exactly the same way, except that David was beautiful and Esau not.
