Well, are we talking Old Testament God, New Testament God, or Allah? All the same dude, you know. I would assume you mean Old Testament God. Yeah, that guy was not very nice. I could definitely see how Africans could well be his chosen people. They suffer a lot, so that's in line. He liked to make his chosen ones suffer, that's for sure.
The real question is, would you WANT to be chosen by that god? I sure wouldn't. Look at what happened to Job, for crying out loud!
