She probably does and will probably disappear if she talks and she probably knows this so she will probably keep quiet but the - most likely - truth is she filed a while back and it was kept from the news until they needed a story to toss around to take attention away from other things.

Like the Obamacare issue which no one is talking about since this split was announced.

The Scientology cult needed to have this settled quickly because the daily publicity about their abuses was threatening to sink them.

I am watching this on the news now. Katie Holmes has got full custody of Suri and gets control of where Suri is educated and where she worships. Apparently when it comes to Toms visitation rights, no reasonable request to see Suri will be refused.

It's clear (to me anyway) that she doesn't want Suri involved in scientology. I am assuming that for Tom to agree to this so quickly and without a messy court battle, Katie must have some dirt on Tom and scientology.

When Tom Cruise was with Nicole Kidman and they adopted their two children together, now those children (who have become adults) are deeply involved with scientology and Nicole Kidman hardly ever gets to see them.

Despite what a lot of people think, Nicole was a very loving mother to those children when her and Tom were together. Since her and Tom split, she barely gets to see them and when she is asked about the fact that they are involved with scientology, she never comments on it. You can tell that she isn't pleased with the fact that her children are scientologists but she just can't comment on it. When you see Nicole in interviews and she is asked about scientology, you can see in her eyes that she wants to say something, but she just can't.

For that reason, I am very pleased for Katie that she has full custody of Suri. I doubt that she will ever say a bad word against scientology because she got what she wanted and that is full custody of Suri and control over where Suri is educated and worships. The upbringing of her child would be much more important to her than speaking out against some cult.
