The idea of "distance" as we understand it is very limited by what we perceive and measure. I am certain some time in the future someone will come up with a more accurate way of what distance really is. Perhaps it is like white light that we see. Only within the past few hundred years did we learn that it actually was a combination of multiple colors of light. I don't know how this concept of distance will be seen in the future but I believe it will help us travel to distant stars in the future. |
