Well, that's a twist - allegedly done by Christians & not some devil worshippers.

Based on some of the replies in thsi thread, I think I'm going to skip watching the actual video for now. No reason to let some assholes ruin a perfectly good night.

But, I will say this - I read that people were laughing about this situation while watching it. I not only agree that this proves they're sick individuals, but that their ability to observe such a thing with no bad feelings proves they are lower than the creature they were laughing at. Fuck them.

I haven't watched video either yet but according to the articles linked above the ones that filmed it are the ones that actually rescued the cat & took it to a shelter. Have no idea why they'd be laughing. Maybe I'll watch video but just don't feel up to it atm.

Apparently those being accused of this deed are LDS, a Mormon sect, and allegedly have been doing this kind of thing for years. The sect allegedly runs the local government & refuses services to those who are critical of their religion and to those that don't belong to it. Sounds like a lovely town!
