Ancient Cancer Cure so cheap and easy to make!
I have been making this in my home for several months now and have noticed an extreme change for the good in my own health. I used to have chronic tooth infections and irritable bowels...they are long gone!
This treatment has been around for millenia. This article is definitely not fancy but worth a read!!

why didn't you just say that it was Kombucha instead of just linking to an article to make us find that out? Plenty of people are well aware of kombucha tea...

I didn't mean to mislead with my title. I had never heard of Kombucha until about 8 months ago, and I was the first person in all of my family and aquaintances to discover it. Not sure where you come from but that is great to be around so many health conscious people! My own mom was battling cancer and her lump has disappeared and cancer markers have gone to nothing after she started brewing Kombucha. I am just so thrilled to have found it :)

I bought it at my local health food store when I first discovered it. Then I bought some cheap glass jars at goodwill and grew my own scoby. I never did purchase any kits or anything, did it all on my own. It's actually very easy to do, takes me about 20 minutes per week and we have more kombucha in our house than we know what to do with! Best thing is my husband was able to kick the soda habit. Kombucha is naturally carbonated and so much more satisfying

Kombucha is a phenomenal tea. Plus it tastes like champagne.

I loved the story about the Russsian localities that made it a regular part of their diet. It is amazing that they were subjected to so much pollution yet their incidence of cancer was nearly non existent.

I've used kombucha but only for very short periods of time, due to the not keeping up with the new batches. It takes persistence to keep up with it.

Garden of Life makes offers an encapsulated version of kombucha. I just ordered and received my first bottle yesterday. I don't know if it's anywhere near as effective as the liquid - probably not - but hope springs eternal because if it does work, it will be a lot more convenient.

Thanks OP! I've never heard of Kombucha and I'm always on the lookout for natural, alternative products. I'm going to order some, sounds good to me.

I have read up a lot about the benefits of Kombucha tea, just haven't taken the steps to make it myself.

I have never tried it as of yet, what would you say the taste is compared to?

It can taste like champagne. I kid you not. Usually the first drink when it is freshly made, tastes like that. Then it loses some of that and tastes more like apple cider.

Re: Ancient Cancer Cure so cheap and easy to make!
My sister turned me on to Kombucha a few weeks ago. I love, love, love this beverage. I never liked or bought soda as I found it much too sweet. Kombucha is a naturally fermented beverage so it is kind of fizzy like soda but it is not sweet at all! It contains loads of beneficial pro-biotic strains. I also feel so much better health-wise and energy-wise. Those who are claiming BS on this thread have obviously never tried it, or they would experience first-hand how much it improves one's health.

This might be the place to ask all my questions. I bought a bottle of the tea in the refrigerated section and there's a a very much expired use-by date. I never even opened it. Does this stuff go bad in the refrigerator? Can I give it to my dog? That sounds like I'm using him as a garbage can, not what I meant at all. Would it be good for him, as well? And what I really want to know is what about taking different probiotics, like yogurt, sauerkraut, kimchi, etc., what does that do to your innards?

It doesn't go bad, just continues to ferment...in a cool fridge it should stay the same level of fermentation that it was at when you put it in there...if you had it in a warm area it would continue to ferment until it turned into vinegar....and would eventually become a giant "mushroom" of a scoby :) You totally should be able to enjoy it still. I think you could give it to your dog, maybe not the whole thing at once? depends on how big your dog is.
The probiotic/fermented foods increase the level of good bacteria in your gut and also provide for a healthy "gut lining" most disease comes from an unhealthy gut and too much "bad bacteria"...the best way to fight is with an abundance of the good stuff. yay, Kombucha!

I buy my milk from this farmer. Although this article is more centered around the question of whether or not to pasteurize milk, his analogy between weeds and bad bacteria is brilliant. Those fermented foods are truly the best way to combat all of the toxins and bad guys that are introduced to our systems daily.

I actually did read that it supposedly does....but my husband and I are in our mid 30's and neither of us have grey hair, and my mother who has also been taking it does not have grey hair either so I don't have experience with that particular cure
