 Quoting: Lo Kei

In the background is the radio, broadcasting the news of an invasion. Your family quickly prepares, your father especially terrified by the announcement. He has long spoke of exactly such a possibility, and you have always listened skeptically.

But now the day has come, and your family is bundled out of the house before the radio can even continue its crackly, distorted announcement. Quickly grabbing only what you each can carry, you are led through the woods away from the house.

Darkness has already fallen, and the eerie glow of the lantern in your father's hand and the beam from your mother's flashlight as she searches the woods for 'the things that go bump in the night' increase your mounting terror.

The radio, desperately clutched by your little sister, is silent now, but the warning is unquestionable... death is coming from the skies above.

At last, you are all piled into the underground bunker and your father sits the shotgun down. He realizes that he forgot something, though, and stops to tell your mother that he'll be back. He must let the animals out, so that they won't starve to death. It's the proper thing to do, the humane thing.

So your small family hunker down together, until there's a terrible sound outside. Uncertain of what the loud 'bang!' is, your mother grabs the shotgun. She's never used one before, and her hands shake in terror, but she's determined to protect you all.

You start to argue with her. You've used a shotgun, and you know how to shoot. It should be you anyway. If something has happened to your father, you're the man of the family. You're responsible for everyone. And you should have gone to let the animals out, because your father is better able to protect the women than you are.

Your mother refuses to give it to you, jerking it away as you reach for it, saying that she won't see you living with having to kill someone.

As she pulls away, her hand is on the trigger, and your life is over with a roar and a flash of agony.

I invite you, dear one, to realize that you aren't responsible for the whole world. You can't do everything, you can't protect everyone. And you it isn't a question of 'do or die' and you don't need to 'die trying'.

Everyone is safe from a greater perspective, in that we will all be in the arms of God in the end. We can only do so much to protect our loved ones. Then we must accept the truth of life... we are limited beings and can only ask of ourselves what is ours to give.

Hi Sandi, I would be grateful if you could take a look, I'm hoping it will help me figure out what else I'm supposed to tackle this time around.... Bill
 Quoting: °Bill°

Black gold! You're what we would nowdays call a roughneck. Black gold has been discovered here in Texas, and you're to help lay the heavy pipe down to it.

You're old and grizzled, and you've done this all your life. You love it, but it's dangerous, and these new boys... they got no respect for the power of the black gold. They don't lissin, and they don't t'ink ya know what ya doin', what wit' yer rough talk, an' all.

What they don't know is that you're one of the best in the business, an unsung hero who has saved many a roughneck in your lifetime. This new batch, though... you got a bad feelin' about them. They gonna die, they is--ownin' to their own stupidity and whatnot.

You got a feel fer it, you tell them. You know when the pipe's 'bout there, and they better get that feel, too. Cause if they don't, they gonna die. They laugh at you... that ain't scien'tific. You tell them that scien'tific only gonna get them so far...

But the end comes for you thanks to their stupidity. You've spent your whole life making money for someone else. Now you gotta give up your life saving some idiot prolly not worthy of the life yer givin' 'im by throwin' away your own.

But because it's who you are, you save the fool roughneck who thought he could be the one to win the prize by being first to reach the black gold. Your intuition awakens you and you run out in time to shove him free just as the pipe erupts from the hole, driven by the force of the oil beneath the surface. It sheers clean through your body, and you are thrown several feet away, black gold raining down on your face as your life's blood mingles with Earth's own.

All for what? For some damned fool and his money, and another damned fool and his lust for the other one's money.

I invite you at this time to feel, on a primal level, that money is nothing more than an exchange of energy and a measure of gratitude and appreciation. You died doing something that you loved, which was the true benefit of what you were doing.

Love what you do, do what you love. Whom you do it for from a financial perspective doesn't matter... what does matter is that YOU LOVE IT. Love will forever be greater than money.

Hello Sandy, don't know if you are still doing readings, but wonder if you could give me one when you have a chance. I do hypnotic regressions myself, but am fascinated by what you do. I have been very disappointed in this life and am wondering if you can give me any past life info that might shed some light. Thank you for sharing your gift.

Sandi,

I know by the time you get to this the decision I have to make, well I will have made it or not. But when you do get here depending on the path I choose you can perhaps give guidance as to how best to move forward.

Much love to you and I know what i am deciding and is causing me so much anxiety, as not able to get a clear vision, is just a drop in the bucket, but I do want to follow my heart, and add in whatever way I can some magic.

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
Hello Sandi. I am so excited that I may get a reading. My life is filled with anxiety and constant "what ifs" and I never feel good. I also feel like my doggie has been with me for more than this lifetime. I am drawn towards Knights for some reason. Last but not least, I am a female that has always been a big tom boy. Thank you and bless you sweet lady!
 Quoting: fearandloathingbutterfly

First, let's talk about this idea that humans have that says there are human souls, and animal souls, and alien souls, and angelic souls, and...

Of course the sweet soul that now resides within your companion animal has been with you many times, in many lifetimes, in many different capacities. You did not need me to tell you this, even with the indoctrinated thinking that tells you that even if animals do have souls, they would have to be lower souls...

The souls of companion animals may well be the most 'advanced' souls on the planet as most humans reckon advanced souls. For they are the best able to channel pure, unconditional, uncomplicated love. And what is the true nature of God? Pure, unconditional, uncomplicated love, of course.

Souls are souls. They are not differentiated. When we take a group of boys and tell them, "You will stand here and try not to let anyone kick this ball into this goal" and we tell another, "you will stand here and wait for the ball to be thrown to you and then you'll pass it to the receiver," they do not become a goalie and a quarterback... [no, not the same game, but that's part of the point].

In both cases, it is a boy, playing a role, within a game.

In both cases, it is a soul, playing a role, within a construct.

One soul plays the dog, another soul plays the tortured human. But neither is a dog nor a human, for both are ultimately souls, no matter the drama within which they appear to be locked. A goalie goes home to his parents and now he is a son... yet he is neither a son nor a goalie, just playing one on Earth. Perhaps even at a Holiday Inn Express.

You see, God has humor, for God created it. wink

Now let us be more personal with each other. For these things are obvious to you already. You have been a knight before, but it is not that which draws you to them.

What draws you to knights is again an idea, a concept, a longing. In popular culture, they stand for nobility, for chivalry, for courtesy, old world charm, power, and a sense of caring for those weaker and smaller. These ideas are very romantic and elegant, but sadly they are not true to the real experiences most people had with these individuals.

Your attraction to them tells you much about yourself, however. You are attracted to concepts of nobility, chivalry, courtesy, and heroism. What kind of person desires to be, and to do, such things, do you think?

There are good reasons to desire these things, and these are true of you. You are a good person with great compassion. This is a strong part of why you long to be a knight...

But there is another reason. And it has to do with both your 'knight' interest, and your desire to be a boy/man, as well. Some would mock you with 'penis envy' statements, but it is true in an altered sense.

The lifetime in question will show you much about yourself. I encourage you, as you read, to remember that there are many 'noble' reasons why you adore knights... and you can choose which parts of knighthood you choose to reflect. Can you keep that in mind? For it is not good to be reproachful towards your soul. Peace lies in understanding, not reproach.

* * * * *

Wales, 1704. As a young peasant girl, your life is simple. You care for the other children and you work in the fields with the family. You have two older siblings, and five younger.

You have been told to stay in the house today, though. Warnings have run through the village, and you and two of the other girls have been sequestered inside the house.

No matter what happens, you have been told not to leave the house.

But you have heard from someone else that a group of knights are coming through. You've always wanted to see one, and a group of them? What young girl could resist??

Sneaking into the town square, you climb up onto the balcony of the local tavern. It's a place all the kids know about, but today there's no one else here. They've all been told to stay inside like you were.

You are watching as they ride in and stop. To your surprise, they are nothing like you expected. They are arrogant and pushy, to the degree that one even kicks your mother.

That, of course, is more than you can stand. You squirm down from your protected spot on top of the tavern and run out to attack him.

When all is said and done, despite being a child not yet into puberty, you are raped and badly beaten. You wish, as you die, that you were a knight. If YOU were a knight, you would do it right. You wouldn't be a monster. And you'd have been able to protect your family, and you would be noble and powerful and... and no one could beat and rape you.

I invite you to realize that we now in a time in which anyone can be a champion. Any of us can take up the 'sword' and speak truth. We can be noble, and powerful, and speak truth and justice without ever lifting steel.

You can be who you are, and be a knight, as well. For the parts of the knight that you truly wish to be were often not the qualities of the people who were actually knighted.

I dub thee Lady Butterfly, and I remind you that being a woman is no limitation to being everything that you can be.

I know you are busy, and I don't expect this question to be answered any time soon. But the reading above set me to thinking:

Do collective entities such as a town, a family, a football team, a state or a nation have an equivalent of a soul or a group soul? If so, are you able to receive information or do readings for such multiple entity complexes? (Not asking you to do a reading, unless you have something to share about a particular nation or group.)

Sandy, thank you, and my daughter appreciated the unicorn...I showed her a bit of the post, but not all. She was disappointed no past life vision, but *I appreciated what you said.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21119742

It would not be helpful to her at this time. I know it's disappointing, but it would draw her focus into somewhere it doesn't need to go.

However, I do have something else to offer to her:

Before you were born, you were lying in the arms of God. God asked you, "Are you ready?" You looked up and smiled.

"I am ready."

"It's going to be a rough one," God said to you gently.

"I know," you answered, quiet, low, and soft. "But I am ready. I can do this."

"I am proud of you, my beloved," God told you. You felt the gentle sweep of love all around you; the kiss of God.

"I'll miss you," you whispered softly. If you had eyes yet, there would have been tears, but instead your Song swelled with tenderness and love, singing into the cosmos, straight to the heart of God.

In answer, God's Song replied with great love, singing notes your human ears will never hear, showing you colors that human eyes will never see.

You floated for eternity on that soft bed of love, before turning and leaning into the wind. As you leaned into the wind, you found yourself floating in another sort of love...

Here was your mother, all around you, protecting you, nourishing you, giving you life. Still afloat in love, you danced the cosmic dance of wonder. Magic was afoot!

When the travail of birth began, you cried out, though there was none to hear it. This was new, this was frightening! From beyond that fear, you heard the echo of the song of God. Your mother's voice, the sound of her heart, the magic of her body all around you reassured you, and at last you were out.

As your eyes took their first glimpse of light, and your ears heard the first words spoken to you, beyond it all you felt the Presence of the Divine.

You are never separate from that which loves you most, dear one. You are always embraced by the Presence of the Divine. You are precious beyond words, and your entry into the limitations of Earth was attended by angels. The place that babies are birthed is a sacred place, and that moment of entry into this world is magic.

Welcome to Earth, honored one. You have much to do here. Do not be afraid, for you are the future of our world. Step forward in courage, grace, and dignity. Your soul is forever safe, and there is only one place to go... Home.

Do the work here. You came out of love. Stay out of love. You are a singular gift to this world.

 Quoting: InCogNeatOh

There are soul groups, but reading them is far more complex. In part because not everyone in the soul group participates in everything that the soul group experiences. Also sometimes multiple soul groups participate in the same things.

For easy example, the Aztec soul group consisted of five separate groups that participated in the larger 'grouping'. From there, each of these five groups went separate ways across the globe [and into the larger universe].

One soul group ceased to incarnate together, so you might say that it 'died'. But all souls who were part of the group continued to exist and moved into other groups.

Additionally, not every Aztec was part of the larger oversoul grouping, nor were they all even part of the five. So if I were to tell someone they were an Aztec, it doesn't necessarily mean they were part of the collective or the five.

When you begin to speak of collective karma or groupings, the level of complexity leaps exponentially. Each leap in collectivity increases the complexity by many thousands of times. From a single person to a 'what about me and s/he?' reading, the complexity rise is astonishing. From there to the question of soul groups and then nations and planets, you are making exponential complexity leaps that are staggering.

I can do such readings, but by the time I got done with all the caveats and finished filtering out what can't be explained, there's little left, lol.

It would be like telling someone about an elephant and saying, "It has a leg".... er, right.

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
I would appreicate your insight. thank you
 Quoting: lois lane 2833324

I don't usually discuss 'famous lifetimes' because they don't often carry major life lessons for the famous person. Also, those souls who do famous lifetimes typically work out the remnants of that lifetime pretty swiftly--life has a sharp learning curve against the outcomes of those things.

However, in this case, I must to make an exception...

You are in a cell. It's not really a prison cell as we future folk would know it, more like a monk's cell. Sparse, with a single window you can see out of only if you climb onto the bed.

Part of your true heresy is burning outside that window. The stench of burning flesh mingle with the musty odor of dust and mildew inside the tiny cell.

Your great heresy wasn't disbelief. It was sharing that disbelief with too many people. You hoped for death, for you feared aging... but your true regret floated in the window as ash...

Some of your students are being burned. 'They' [the gov] knew that just killing you would not punish you. They knew that no amount of torture of your self would break your heart...

But your students. Your poor students. That, and that alone, could deeply break your heart, and the stench of their misery and their cries cannot be blocked out.

When they come with the poison, it is a relief. You escape the true torture outside your window, knowing that they will stop now. Having made their point, once your death has come, there will be no more point to their atrocity.

You drink it and you lie down. Your muscles grow weak at first, and you feel light-headed, almost peaceful. Tingles and then numbness fall over your body, creeping across your face. Eventually though, your lungs cease to function, and you begin to die of asphyxiation. You can't even struggle, and it is a horrifying and miserable death, screaming inside the sealed vault of your mind.

At last it is over.

If you have not already done so in this life, Socrates, I invite you to begin teaching again. It will be a great balm to your soul, for 'heresy' is the engine of the future, and without someone to teach it, there can be no one to learn it.

There are layers and layers to things. Everything has multiple purposes. In some cases, birthmarks are a 'setup' for life challenges. When birthmarks are huge, they can be an experience of being teased in this lifetime.

Some birthmarks are something carried by certain soul groups. For example, look up what's called a 'stork bite' if you wish. It's a birthmark that announces part of a larger soul group. No, I am not allowed to speak of it at this time.

And yes, sometimes there are markers of past life traumas.

Yours mark you as a soul group. Your daughter's also has another significance, but it is not mine to disclose. Such marks are deeply personal in most cases, and any conversations about them should not be held publicly.

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
Hello old friend...thought much of you in my absence....and absence that has been filled with an increase awareness...not only of the past...but my present responsibility to future...and an awareness of the "infinite now"...tying it all together. Various experiences, circumstances, people...and one in particular.

Please...tell me what you see.

Much love,

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
Hi!! I just wanted to thank you for doing this! Awesome Thread!

I have wondered many times about my past lives. I seem to be confronted with many unpredictable obstacles whenever I get confident or back on track. Whole life feels like treading water. I have wondered what I must have one, an possibly need to correct to change things.

Then there's the lucid dreaming and time travel dreams I have had. I don't have them as often. Though I am aware of being in another dimension when I am dreaming.

One time a medicine man came up to me and started crying for all the pain I carry. He said I had died on the Trail of Tears, and was a matriarch. Previously, I had a suspicion that I was the kind of person the "church" used to like to roast over an open flame. This man didn't know me and he was able to tell me that.
When I do my astrology chart some weird combinations come up, for instance I have a period coming up that something drastic is supposed to happen in about 8 years. It has to do with the Eighth house, I think, need to double check the chart, but I think its the Sun in the Eighth house.

Not to mention all the synchronicities in my life, too numerous to elaborate..things have happened to me that are so improbable that it sounds like bs when I tell them.

I would so appreciate it if you could give me some insight into my past, I figure maybe knowing will help straighten out the problem.

I think you will have to check with Sandi, I was just going off what was said and might be wrong. The way i read it is that "heresy" or variations of it is what will be needed to drive the engine of our future. In other words so many of us have been lied to or dumbed down about what is the truth. Now more than ever we need people to come forward to not only question what we have been taught, but open us up to a new way of seeing and discerning what the "truth" is. What better teacher for this then Socrates. It could also be that 'heresy" will be used by TPTB to crush the truth and light. Again we need people to step forward and shine the light in a way that all can see.

That was my understanding but I am not sure if it is right. As for your fear of writing, I am curious. Are you anxious because you feel you don't express well, and people will laugh, or what is the reason?
