Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
Hello old friend...thought much of you in my absence....and absence that has been filled with an increase awareness...not only of the past...but my present responsibility to future...and an awareness of the "infinite now"...tying it all together. Various experiences, circumstances, people...and one in particular.

Please...tell me what you see.

Much love,

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
Hi!! I just wanted to thank you for doing this! Awesome Thread!

I have wondered many times about my past lives. I seem to be confronted with many unpredictable obstacles whenever I get confident or back on track. Whole life feels like treading water. I have wondered what I must have one, an possibly need to correct to change things.

Then there's the lucid dreaming and time travel dreams I have had. I don't have them as often. Though I am aware of being in another dimension when I am dreaming.

One time a medicine man came up to me and started crying for all the pain I carry. He said I had died on the Trail of Tears, and was a matriarch. Previously, I had a suspicion that I was the kind of person the "church" used to like to roast over an open flame. This man didn't know me and he was able to tell me that.
When I do my astrology chart some weird combinations come up, for instance I have a period coming up that something drastic is supposed to happen in about 8 years. It has to do with the Eighth house, I think, need to double check the chart, but I think its the Sun in the Eighth house.

Not to mention all the synchronicities in my life, too numerous to elaborate..things have happened to me that are so improbable that it sounds like bs when I tell them.

I would so appreciate it if you could give me some insight into my past, I figure maybe knowing will help straighten out the problem.

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
...

I don't usually discuss 'famous lifetimes' because they don't often carry major life lessons for the famous person. Also, those souls who do famous lifetimes typically work out the remnants of that lifetime pretty swiftly--life has a sharp learning curve against the outcomes of those things.

However, in this case, I must to make an exception...

You are in a cell. It's not really a prison cell as we future folk would know it, more like a monk's cell. Sparse, with a single window you can see out of only if you climb onto the bed.

Part of your true heresy is burning outside that window. The stench of burning flesh mingle with the musty odor of dust and mildew inside the tiny cell.

Your great heresy wasn't disbelief. It was sharing that disbelief with too many people. You hoped for death, for you feared aging... but your true regret floated in the window as ash...

Some of your students are being burned. 'They' [the gov] knew that just killing you would not punish you. They knew that no amount of torture of your self would break your heart...

But your students. Your poor students. That, and that alone, could deeply break your heart, and the stench of their misery and their cries cannot be blocked out.

When they come with the poison, it is a relief. You escape the true torture outside your window, knowing that they will stop now. Having made their point, once your death has come, there will be no more point to their atrocity.

You drink it and you lie down. Your muscles grow weak at first, and you feel light-headed, almost peaceful. Tingles and then numbness fall over your body, creeping across your face. Eventually though, your lungs cease to function, and you begin to die of asphyxiation. You can't even struggle, and it is a horrifying and miserable death, screaming inside the sealed vault of your mind.

At last it is over.

If you have not already done so in this life, Socrates, I invite you to begin teaching again. It will be a great balm to your soul, for 'heresy' is the engine of the future, and without someone to teach it, there can be no one to learn it.

I think you will have to check with Sandi, I was just going off what was said and might be wrong. The way i read it is that "heresy" or variations of it is what will be needed to drive the engine of our future. In other words so many of us have been lied to or dumbed down about what is the truth. Now more than ever we need people to come forward to not only question what we have been taught, but open us up to a new way of seeing and discerning what the "truth" is. What better teacher for this then Socrates. It could also be that 'heresy" will be used by TPTB to crush the truth and light. Again we need people to step forward and shine the light in a way that all can see.

That was my understanding but I am not sure if it is right. As for your fear of writing, I am curious. Are you anxious because you feel you don't express well, and people will laugh, or what is the reason?

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
Sandi, what are your thoughts on birth marks? My daughter and I have them and I read that birth marks are your "cellular memory" from injuries in previous incarnations. What are your thoughts on this, is that true? Thanks and you are just wonderful! hf
 Quoting: Jilly23

There are layers and layers to things. Everything has multiple purposes. In some cases, birthmarks are a 'setup' for life challenges. When birthmarks are huge, they can be an experience of being teased in this lifetime.

Some birthmarks are something carried by certain soul groups. For example, look up what's called a 'stork bite' if you wish. It's a birthmark that announces part of a larger soul group. No, I am not allowed to speak of it at this time.

And yes, sometimes there are markers of past life traumas.

Yours mark you as a soul group. Your daughter's also has another significance, but it is not mine to disclose. Such marks are deeply personal in most cases, and any conversations about them should not be held publicly.
 Quoting: Sandi_T

My grandaughter, privatly? How? Would be real interested in this as she is a real ???? the right word WONDERFUL is not even special enough.

Sandi,
My daughter and I share birthmarks...mongolian spots. And my other daughter and my sister also share a birthmark a brown pigmented one. Also my father and I share a common single long strand of hair protruding from our foreheads. I would also like to know of the connection... I already requested a reading so when you do get to me if you can add anything additional would be great.
Your gift is spectacular and I have really enjoyed the readings and can't wait to see what you see.afro

I have to chime in here a second about the 'mongolian spots', isn't this a cafe au lait single spot at the base of the spine a 'bout the size of a quarter? Seen these firsthand in both tibetan children and hopi children which speaks of their genetic link going back 60,000 years (according to Frank Waters 'Book Of The Hopi'..
probably predates his estimate.
I have no intention of derailing the thread, but since you brought it up this is a beautiful brotherhood :)

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2833324

Funnily enough The Socratic Dialogue has been on my mind a lot recently.
I had a conversation with a friend about it a few days ago in relation to the book Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance which I hardly remember reading (I read a lot but tend to blank books I don't like).
One thing I'm very aware of-especially on places like GLP is the sheer lack of logic used when people share their "beliefs" and how it is almost impossible to dissuade them by pointing out blatant inconsistencies in their thinking.
I do think Logic-without precluding, in fact *including*,addressing High Strangeness is needed at this fraught time, just to make sense of it all for those sincerely attempting to do so.
Perhaps your task is to start writing, in some form, bringing forth Socrate's innate humility and sense.
I don't know.
The other thing that occurred to me is that most people that Sandi has read for seem to have died Horrible Deaths.
If Socrates was devastated by the death of his students (rightly so)
It may have been that they felt that their deaths were worth it for a greater purpose.
Afterall they stood by him/you and the commitment to Truth.
Regardless (and I do have difficulty expressing myself well-also past life stuff); I hope this helps and much love to you.

May I request a reading Sandi? Very curious about reincarnation (if possible).
 Quoting: Supernatural

Okay, so yesterday I got blasted by an over-developed heart chakra. Today it's the opposite... the 'all under' guy. Yours seem to be all closed up. Not completely, but very much. One might tend to think that would make you a passive person, but it seems like "I'm strong because life has forced me to be" might be an apt description here. But it seems like it might be draining, and I hope it isn't effecting your health. There is definitely potential for it.

It's difficult to get much of anything on you. You're very withdrawn from life in general, and not in a positive way. Like you're sort of shut down, "I quit".

Anyway, that being said, since I don't usually 'go there', I figure I'll move on to what you asked for. :D

* * * *

The Andes mountains. Cotapaxi, the highest active volcano in the world now... once just a quiet mountain in amongst the rest. Shorter than it is now...

There you stand. Looking out across the world from your vantage point, you are like any young lad--excited and proud. This was your Spirit Walk, and you made it all the way.

The wind is bitter as it drives into the mountain, but you don't care. You're dressed for it, and so you stand and look out over the world, feeling as if you rule it all.

'Tis the folly of youth, that. To believe you know everything and to not understand how little you truly do know. Your elders warned you not to go here. Not to wander the rumbling mountain... for danger lurked there.

But you just knew that your Spirit Walk required this place. So here you are, on top of the world-literally.

Now it's time to go down the mountain again. You begin your trek with a light heart. Slipping and sliding, you make your way for several hours, still on a high from the trip.

But as you make your way down, the mountain rumbles again. Loose stones rain down on you at first, but then the rumble picks up... soon you find yourself slipping on the increasing barrage of dirt and stones.

With a roar, the landslide picks up, dust rising into the air and boulders now joining the loose dirt and shale. As you fall and are eventually crushed beneath the mass, you are left with a deep shame, and an inevitable feeling that the Gods have abandoned you... perhaps even intentionally led you to your death at the hands of the vengeful mountain.

Like some sort of cruel, cosmic prank... at your expense.

I invite you now to realize that your choice was made from youthful arrogance, not from guidance from a capricious and spiteful god who wished to watch your suffering and laugh. And even now, there is no one finding humor from your misery.

You are a child of the Divine. You are beloved and precious, and no truly loving being could take pleasure in your sorrow, your hurt, or your loneliness. There is much love awaiting you, if you decide to trust again.

hi,

Just came across your thread tonight and I must say WOW! I have always been curious as to what past life or lives I've had. Can you please read me and see? also if possible can you tell me what you get from me presently? the reason why I asked because this last month has been the most shocking, "I
can't believe this has happened" events in my life! I feel like my time line has been rapidly moving forward 3x full. Things have occurred recently that one would expect or experience in different stages or age sets for a normal person. Which has happened to me in four weeks. Now, for some reason I keep thinking about babies yes/no in my future why? I don't know so any help would be greatly appreciated. I just need some direction that is all. Thanks so much to take the time out to help me.

New York. It's the 1850's and Parisian fashion has had a hold on NY. But the fashion reform is in full swing and you absolutely adore the new fashions... and the Parisian ones, as you always have.

Walking past the windows, you are fascinated by the dresses there, and the new practical wear for women.

But you are an American Indian slave, and all of these things are "not for you". In fact, "not for you" would define this entire lifetime...

The 'darkie' that you adore is also "not for you". For years now, you have loved him, and now he's to be married to another slave.

What you don't know is that the Bloodhound law has been passed. So when he comes to you in the darkness of the night and asks you to run away with him, you go. Many have escaped to the North, you know, so you sneak out together with the help of the other slaves.

Fleeing with stolen food from the kitchens of the Great House, you make your way North together.

Four days later, you hear them. The dogs. Their deep belling call is terrifying, and you and your love run for it. Into the darkness you flee, seeking hope in any form.

It never comes, but the dogs do. First they kill your love, and then they set onto you.

When the hunters come, they laugh, kicking your love's corpse. "This one won't make it back," they laugh. Then they cheer the dogs on as the dogs ensure that you, also, will never make it back. For these men don't hunt to return, they hunt for sport.

You are mauled to death by the half-starved hunting hounds, with laughter in your ears. Freedom, like the fashions of NY and the man you loved... is not for you.

I invite you to remember that God wishes for you, all good things. To have desires is not death, to want things is not evil. To care for yourself when the need arises is right and appropriate and life-giving for you and your family.

hugs

Indeed. The majority. Earth is just a 'baby' in the grand scheme of things. Humanity is in its infancy, so of course most incarnate beings have had to have been doing something for the infinite period before Earth came along [so to speak--time isn't what we think it is, it exists for Earth, not as a Universal construct].
