Can you see the future or just the past? when you wrote what happened to the mayans is that because you can see it or do you know that from some other method. thank you and much love It's a bit like 'remote viewing', I suppose. Kirk User ID: 10818676 United States 07/31/2012 09:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I would be VERY interested in a reading please. I've always wondered if past lives could influence who I am today. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19476074 thank you in advance. If you have the time, that is. :] You live in a small brownstone outside of town. You've got your cow, a few chickens, and an herb garden. You're the stereotypical 'cat woman'... Unfortunately for you, these are the times when a foreign religion has come knocking. And cats are through to be minions of evil. In the darkness of the night, where they don't have to look you in the face, they come for you. Friends and neighbors who have traded for your herbal tinctures and treasures for years now sentence you to a horrific death. The level of betrayal you feel can't be spoken. This time it wasn't just family, it was community, friends, those who have used you over the years... They used you and now they are murdering you. * * * * * * 1888... a dark alley. You didn't want to enter 'the oldest profession in the world', but life gave you no other choice. Society gave you no other choice. That which was to nurture you [family], gave you no other choice. Tonight, a repeat customer has arrived. As he cuts you down, he tells you that you are a filthy, worthless whore... as if you had a choice to be anything else. You've already lived with the pain and shame of it all your life. Now you must die with the pain and shame of it. And no one will ever know that the person who killed you could have saved you. He was in a position to do so, but didn't. It's difficult to trust when everyone from family to community to government officials have gotten in line to destroy you. Is this a test? To see how you bear up in the face of treachery or. . .? Government is a body largely ungoverned. |
Sandi_T (OP) User ID: 17391665 United States 07/31/2012 09:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There has been a lot of questions about my own past lives. I have been many things, but the lives that are bringing me the greatest challenge right now are my multiple incarnations as monks. As a christian monk, I took vows of poverty [oh boy, did i] that I took very, very seriously. I considered rich people to be evil. I also repeatedly chose to become a Buddhist monk. Due to these incarnations and my faith in 'nonattachments', I constantly left family behind. As a result, in this lifetime, I have lost children and had to face what it was like for my family as I left them behind and never looked back. I have lifetimes in which I killed people for heresy, and in which I was killed for heresy. It is no mistake that in this lifetime I left a religion I have killed for [and been killed by]. There are many others that effect who and what I am now, but they get into the 'esoteric' and a lot of people would start to think my cheese has slipped off my cracker. :p No more requests in the "Strangest things" thread please. :hf: Past Lives requests thread: Thread: That Which Once Was: Past Lives |

Quoting: InCogNeatOh I'm getting the feeling that some souls choose zillions and others choose only a few. Any comment? PS: Some of your past lives sound familiar. Yes, they are quite familiar, lol. Many of us make the same mistakes, in our own ways. Anyway, no average, really. Some incarnate at various rates in various places, not just Earth. Additionally, some are more skilled at other things than incarnating. They may be best, for example, at helping to maintain Earth's magnetic field, or best at helping to support the perpetuation of the tides, or at keeping the networks of ley lines active, or... There are myriads of spiritual 'jobs'. No one's lounging around when they're not incarnated... well, no more than anyone else does. :) No more requests in the "Strangest things" thread please. :hf: Past Lives requests thread: Thread: That Which Once Was: Past Lives |

I have been traveling thru airports this weekend and you kept popping into my mind. I imagined sitting in this airport now and opening my laptop and finding my story. And here it is - just fascinating to read. I smiled at the first paragraph because I'm always inviting people over, and love to entertain. Quoting: Truly Yes indeed the world can be/has been unpredictable and frightening at times (I've learned not to take anything for granted), but I've never feared death - a blessing my mother passed on to me - only the emotion that must sometimes be endured. Again thank you so much, special lady, giving so much of your time to us all. :FanFlower: I'm sorry, I did not express the end well. The statement is not about fearing death, it is about the pain of seeing others suffer. For some of us, such is terrible agony. It's important to remember that 'everything happens for a reason' and that 'it's better at Home' aren't just cliches nor empty words. You did express it well Sandi - I was just free flow writing and my mother always comes to mind when I'm feeling grateful for not having that fear. And yes, I will try to remember those things, they are very relevant for me. Makes me feel better and with less doubt. :) :heartflowers::heartflowers::heartflowers::heartflowers: |

I wonder about it because of too many coincidences. 04/22/1987 Seen the eye in the sky, watching me. Three days after I drew my first perfect flower of life, my aunt gave me a cup with the exact same pattern printed on the bottom. She's an ordinary Taiwanese woman and has no idea about sacred geometry or occult or ET, but she said she thinks the cup is good for health. I vaguely remember what earth was like, with two moons, even before I read the scientific article about this subject. It's not a memory, but more like an impression saying "things should have been so, and it used to be so when the first men walk the earth." I'm waiting. I'm waiting for things to happen. Thank you. |

anon2121416 User ID: 8650283 United States 08/01/2012 11:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I see the future, but rarely. It's very unpredictable and not under my control. Unlike this, which is kind of always active and more something that just sits in the back of my mind, that comes when it wants to, and in the way it wants to. The reason we come here is to Complete God. There is no need to come here to clear things up... these things are simply setups for experiences here. It's like saying that you go to the fair to ride the Ferris Wheel. The Ferris Wheel is incidental to HAVING FUN. Part of having fun for you might be riding the Ferris Wheel, but the final purpose is having fun. The only real purpose here is to experience. Everything else is incidental to that final requirement. There is no real mission or purpose, precisely, except to be here and be human. That being said, there are opportunities to increase the amount of love and peace and joy there is in your own life, in the lives of those you love, and in the world. This 'secondary' purpose can be met by anyone who has the 'calling' [the setup, the preparation, whatever you want to call it]. However, there are always 'first choice' individuals for opportunities. I am the 'first choice' for what I am doing here, and what will come of it. But I can 'abdicate' and choose not to do it... someone else will step up. Because the need for someone to bring people reassurance and release is too vital for it to be left to a single person's free will. It's difficult for me to explain, but ultimately, it means that many people could have done this, but I am uniquely placed to be 'the best at it', and it would take the least spiritual juggling if I took it on instead of someone else. But there are not so many people with such callings. For the most part, the greatest value you can bring to the world is to love. When you love, you experience the love that you let flow through you... and thus you Know God. That is the greatest calling within the fundamental calling. Exist, be human; your highest calling. But beyond that, the greatest is to love and bring love forth into the world. Thanks Sandi. Sure seems God needs a lot of completing, lol. I get the fun bit but it can be hard with the daily pressures of life. Odd to think it doesn't matter really what we do and karma sort of doesn't exist. I will have to ponder that. |

Just kidding Sandy. I hope I wasn't something exceptionally shitty like a rapist or a murderer, but I suppose those people have to have new lives after that and grow too. I have schizophrenia and the voice inside my head torments me often, so there's definitely work to be done on my subconscious mind, focusing on my breathing helps considerably to make it go away. Your past lives as monks was probably very helpful in some ways, even if it made you less prone towards attachment. I hope whatever children you lost, you turned around and got back. Being a parent to me is terrifying and I don't think I'm fit for it or could do it at all unless I get with someone who is very healing and supportive who fulfills me. I have a great deal of respect for people who manage that with dignity. I don't really understand God, I actually fear praying to him, but God bless you! I feel sorta guilty bumping up your thread because then you get more requests to fill, but maybe you don't mind it! |

leeloo321 User ID: 20423402 United States 08/02/2012 01:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | hi sandi~ i asked for a reading on pg 5. however i'm curious if you are able to focus in on more specific aspects. i'm curious about a possible connection between someone that came into my life a couple of years ago. i know that we have known each other before. i believe that he may have been my father in one of my past lives. as i have matured physically, spiritually, mentally i have become more in tune with past life memories, as well as energies that are all around..cosmic, nature, divine, human, animal. i'm very sensitive. anyway, the relationship with this person has been all consuming to me emotionally. the first couple encounters with him i had no recognition, but the moment it happend a shift occurred that has sent me spiraling through an amazing two years of growth on all levels. our energies together are magnetic to say the least, and explosive at times. there is an intense sexual attraction, but a total sense of absolute unconditional love (at least from me for him) i am in a relationship that i have been in for 6 years that has been wonderful, fulfilling, but i have always had a nagging sense that i should get free. however, i love and care for this person sooo much and he is so afraid of losing me and i him. and i do not want to leave this relationship for the wrong reasons. whatever they may be. my life is full of signs, synchronicity, intuition... there is too much to this connection that i can't see clearly. if you have the time or focus to look into this for me i would greatly greatly appreciate your insight. ~lucy ps. you're lovely |

Sandi_T (OP) User ID: 17391665 United States 08/03/2012 11:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I just started to feel extremely overwhelmed. 28 pages, god help me, lol. Plus, my daughter is out of summer school and with me all the time, I'm on a promo tour for my book, plus a lot of hours at my day job since I don't have to bail to pick up my daughter, and hubby's got a lot going on at work and needs extra support, and I've not been sleeping well, and... Er. Yeah. Sometimes life just gets insanely busy. I hate to say it, but in all of that, something had to suffer; and almost all of what I'm crazy busy with either puts food on the table or is a practical consideration (MUST care for the child). So anyway, back to the grindstone today. No more requests in the "Strangest things" thread please. :hf: Past Lives requests thread: Thread: That Which Once Was: Past Lives |
Sandi_T (OP) User ID: 17391665 United States 08/03/2012 11:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't usually discuss 'famous lifetimes' because they don't often carry major life lessons for the famous person. Also, those souls who do famous lifetimes typically work out the remnants of that lifetime pretty swiftly--life has a sharp learning curve against the outcomes of those things. However, in this case, I must to make an exception... You are in a cell. It's not really a prison cell as we future folk would know it, more like a monk's cell. Sparse, with a single window you can see out of only if you climb onto the bed. Part of your true heresy is burning outside that window. The stench of burning flesh mingle with the musty odor of dust and mildew inside the tiny cell. Your great heresy wasn't disbelief. It was sharing that disbelief with too many people. You hoped for death, for you feared aging... but your true regret floated in the window as ash... Some of your students are being burned. 'They' [the gov] knew that just killing you would not punish you. They knew that no amount of torture of your self would break your heart... But your students. Your poor students. That, and that alone, could deeply break your heart, and the stench of their misery and their cries cannot be blocked out. When they come with the poison, it is a relief. You escape the true torture outside your window, knowing that they will stop now. Having made their point, once your death has come, there will be no more point to their atrocity. You drink it and you lie down. Your muscles grow weak at first, and you feel light-headed, almost peaceful. Tingles and then numbness fall over your body, creeping across your face. Eventually though, your lungs cease to function, and you begin to die of asphyxiation. You can't even struggle, and it is a horrifying and miserable death, screaming inside the sealed vault of your mind. At last it is over. If you have not already done so in this life, Socrates, I invite you to begin teaching again. It will be a great balm to your soul, for 'heresy' is the engine of the future, and without someone to teach it, there can be no one to learn it.
