We already know that The Queen of England and her son Prince Charles will be there...

[ link to www.news.com.au] Why has the Queen changed her opening ceremony plans? What does she know that we don't. I've been pondering this because it does seem odd that the Queen wouldn't open the games. I'm just thinking out loud here....but with all the stuff that's been going on surrounding her jubilee - maybe she just decided that the focus should be on the games and the athletes and not her for those 2 weeks?
