99 percent of serial killers had prostitutes for mothers. Well, maybe not quite 99 but a huge majority did. Think of how a child would feel having ones mother sell herself to men. Think of the environment they would be raised in, the violence,and neglect they would see and experience.

I can't believe that people will actually defend prostitution as a legitimate choice, job or lifestyle except some libertarian fuckhead.

Let's see, force, normally, young beautiful women to surrender their bodies to strangers for sexual assault essentially ( because the bulk of them admit to despising the profession or are enslaved by it), so that they may survive or earn money for another who also likely abuses them and or assaults them and also likely beats them. Not to mention a plethora of diseases some which carry a death sentence, profoundly early onset aging, extreme mental illness, and statistically early death or high percentage of murder and suicide.

I think his reasoning was that a child raised by your typial prost. lives a very uncertain and precarious life. Think of the types of people that would be around and interacting with them. Think of the neglect, violence and uncertainty.Think of the type of babysitters the child would have.

do it to support their drug habit. it puts them in close proximity to easy money and those who carry the dope.

For some women, especially those who are clean and not doing it for the drugs,ie; high end escorts and call girls,
it is a viable way to make a good income doing something they don't need an education or any job skills for. There are a surprising number of young single mothers who put themselves through college and pay for rent and day-care playing 'girlfiend' to lonely guys willing to pay the $500-$1000/night because they don't want some skeezy streetwalker.

Some of the high end girls with managers can make $5000 for 5-6 hours.

Of course it should be legal, but it's kinda icky. Red light districts are a good idea, keep it confined to one part of the city so it's not everywhere.
