I had a co-worker confide in me she was upset because she threw her daughter a birthday party and her mother in law was all upset thinking she did a terrible job. Yes. That makes it ketchup. Plus, please do not put sugar in the crust. When you add sugar to bread, that makes it cake. No sugar ( or corn syrup products) needed.

I've never put on pizza, but I do make a tomato based sauce with toranos sugar free chocolate syrup (in place of cooked chocolate shavings that I used to use).
Hubby loves it. I've never told him what I put in there and I don't do it all the time because I prefer garden type herbs over store bought syrup but it was a fun concoction. I guess this means I shouldn't try it on pizza.
