Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19550911 I'd rather buy from the chinks than a lazy-ass greedy communist American union. Thats about the size of it. You'd rather buy from a place that has a 12 y/o working 16 hours a day, for .50 cents and hour in terrible conditions, than do business with fellow citizens and domestic economy. Says it all. |

The only thing anyone can really do, is look to buy product made in their own country only. Support your own small businesses, if it costs you a little extra in the short run, in the long run it saves you ( product will be better quality and it means keeping jobs in your own country ). Not that we got to choose where the olympic outfits were made, and even buying things made in our own Countrys prob wont be easy now, whatever they are. It is a disgrace though, every country should of had these things made in their own country. But you will prob find only some European Countrys ( Germany etc ) still have the pride to do that. Will be interesting to see where Austs were made, but you can near back It in the cheapest slave labour country the govt here could find. |

Banned as usual. “It is far easier to be a weakling than to be a Real Man. Were the Earth less harsh or the circumstances of life less austere, man would destroy himself before the shrine of the languid goddess. Only Real Men can with safety destroy the tangled forests and wilderness of Earth and make from them gardens, but will those who inherit the gardens be Real Men? The law decrees that they must be, or the wilderness will reclaim its own.” |

They reported if made in the good old USA, it might have been worth quite a tidy sum for US employees. No link yet on the ABC site.
