A lot of people still wonder if there really is a God out there. However in this post modern age people are becoming more familiar and accepting of the concept that there is no God. But to say there is no God is absolutely absurd, infact it would be impossible for God to not exist! Throughout this page I will provide you some undeniable reasons and facts as to why there is a God, and also hope.

Why there is a God? Well the fist reason we can say God exist is because we exist. Let me explain. First off, the universe is not eternal, it had a definite beginning. It is philosophically and mathematically impossible to have an eternal universe. It’s like trying to measure where you are on an infinite rope – impossible in the practical universe. This proves we had a clear beginning point, where time, space and all matter came into existence all at once. Now if nothing existed before this and all the sudden the whole universe came into existence, what caused it all? This is where God comes into the picture. However before we get there, atheistic scientists say that out of ‘nothing’ a ‘big bang’ produced everything, but this is blatantly wrong, how can nothing explode to make everything? These scientist scramble for an explanation but thankfully many scientist are rejecting the ‘big bang theory’ and explaining it all by God. Obviously the cause of the universe would have to be eternal itself, timeless and intelligent and have greater power than the entire universe. This can only be God and can not be denied.

Evolution is another reason why people have turned off the idea of God, the concept that we evolved over millions of years causes people to deny Gods involvement or existence. It is said that ‘mutations’ – random changes in genetic information are suppose to generate ‘new information in genes’ so that new features develop, e.g. wings, legs, eyes etc. However, random changes in genes do not cause a gain in information, they only corrupt it. This corruption causes diseases and birth defects instead, eg. cancers and hereditary conditions. Observable science has never proved evolution; instead we have only found devolution, the exact opposite. Therefore we are winding down, because factors such as UV light, pollution and toxins are harming our DNA and we are only devolving, there is no such thing as each generation gaining new physical features because it is impossible for the environment or ‘natural selection’ to cause genes to ‘add’ information. DNA is programmed to only make exact copies of itself, unless there are harmful factors creating mutations (loss of information), for example, breeding dogs will never produce non dogs or dogs with a new feature unknown to the canine species. Fossils only prove this case, there should technically be millions of transitional fossils out there (if evolution were true) but none have been proven to show support for evolution – it’s a disproven theory, but unfortunately many hold onto it. Given we are not evolving, it proves that we got here as fully formed human beings; we did not start out as tadpoles but proves we were created – and that creator is God.
So you might be asking now, “Well if God is real, what is the truth then?” The greatest truth can only be found in the bible. The reason so many come to believe the bible is because of fulfilled prophecy. The Old Testament, written hundreds of years before Jesus’ birth, contains over 300 prophecies that Jesus fulfilled through His life, death and resurrection.
What must you do? We are all infected with sin (Romans 3:23). We are born with sin (Psalm 51:5), and we all personally choose to sin (Ecclesiastes 7:20; 1 John 1:8). Sin is actions such as lying, stealing, blasphemy of Gods name, hating, sexual immorality etc. – breaking God’s commandments. Every one of us is guilty of sin. Sin is what makes us unsaved. Sin is what separates us from God. Sin is what has us on the path to eternal destruction. Because of our sin, we all deserve hell (Romans 6:23). While the physical consequence of sin is physical death, that is not the only kind of death that results from sin. All sin is ultimately committed against an eternal and infinite God (Psalm 51:4). Because of that, the just penalty for our sin is also eternal and infinite. What we need to be saved from is eternal destruction (Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:15). How did God provide salvation? Because the just penalty for sin is infinite and eternal, only God could pay the penalty, because only He is infinite and eternal. But God, in His divine nature, could not die. So God became a human being in the person of Jesus Christ. God took on human flesh, lived among us, and taught us. When the people rejected Him and His message, and sought to kill Him, He willingly sacrificed Himself for us, allowing Himself to be crucified (John 10:15). Because Jesus Christ was human, He could die; and because Jesus Christ was God, His death had an eternal and infinite value. Jesus’ death on the cross was the perfect and complete payment for our sin (1 John 2:2). He took the consequences we deserved. Jesus’ resurrection from the dead demonstrated that His death was indeed the perfectly sufficient sacrifice for sin. What do I need to do? “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). Repent of your sins, that means to change your mind, seek God and turn from your sins. God has already done all of the work. All you must do is receive, in faith, the salvation God offers (Ephesians 2:8-9). Fully trust in Jesus alone as the payment for your sins. Believe in Him, and you will not perish (John 3:16). God is offering you salvation as a gift. All you have to do is accept it. Jesus is the way of salvation (John 14:6).
