Biggest record was X28+ in 2003. This X1.4 is just a burp.

OK An X1.4 flare is of no interest in and of itself, except some of us feel them, as I did today. There may or maybe not be small radio type problems. The person you quoted was talking about the flare and not the CME and we will not know how the CME will affect us until it actually shows up in a couple days of so.
