This information is old. I read about it a few months, and still think its a horrid drug, BUT if people want to inject themselves with this crap, than they get everything that comes to them as consquence of their actions.

my friend in dallas was in the hospital for a month because someone was selling him this as heroin. It's in the US too people!

By the way, there are much more gruesome videos out there about krokodil, if anyone wants to see more. The OP's video just gave one basic exposure to the sort of thing it does to the human body.

The one good thing -- if there is a 'good thing' -- about krokodil is that it quickly kills off its users. Editted to explain, that is to say that they do not suffer more than a few months, and their ability to lure others into use is diminished, as compared to meth for example.

Nothing is wrong with me, but working in a hospital and seeing drug addicts come in, makes you a bit numb to certain things. There are enough things in this world, that can kill you, but you decide to take something that you know will eventually lead to your death, and you want me to feel pity? I feel pity and sympathize with people who get a disease that they didnt inflict on themselves. I sympathize with people who are abused one way or another. I sympathize for people who are pushed back into a corner, and are forced to do something, BUT I CANNOT sympathize with someone who willingly put themselves into that corner. NO ONE BUT THEMSELVES are making them smoke or inject them with that crap. Everyone's life is painful and has issues, but they dont inject themselves with something that is lethal because they cant deal.

Yes, it is sad. But you know what? The whole-world is fullof sadness and misery! These drug-users knowingly take it & NO ONE is putting a gun to their head! So yeah, back to realuty now bub...the have it coming...and they choose it! Save your pity for those deserving of it. People that want to straighten-up.

Yeah, addiction is something beyond choice. And for those arrested for possession of drugs, it's time to have drug courts instead of criminal courts so these people can get treatment. Jail time doesn't help them and it's barbaric.

As an opiate addict, I can tell you that most users do not choose to be addicts. Most don't CHOOSE to have their lives destroyed by drugs. It just happens. YOu can be prescribed a strong painkiller for a surgery, and have to be on it for a couple of months, and when you run out your body craves more, very very strongly. When alternative opiates are easily available, it's very easy to say to yourself, "Just this once, so I can stop feeling so bad for today at least."

Then you do it again the next day...

and it continues, until, like me, you are sitting in the midst of oblivion, waiting to just go... There's nothing left.

Not doing drugs is a choice. You cant help bodily cravings.
