It really is a shame for all the farmers. You have to remember it's going to affect all of us with rising prices if we lose 30% of the corn crop

Re: U.S. declares drought-stricken states largest natural disaster area ever!!
The end of June marked a tense Pluto and Uranus square which foretold tensions and accidents. Astrologers around the world warned of high profile break ups and nationwide news that would capture our attention and it sure did with weather chaos holding the United States in tense grip. Major flooding of the Century in Duluth Minnesota and record breaking fires in Colorado burning down hundreds of homes highlighted a fire and water prophecy that brought us into July.

This will go down as the forth of July tension of fire and water disrupting our lives.

In the Tarot Arcana we have card # 20 which is Judgement and the symbol of FIRE trine. Its Hebrew association is the letter Shin for "tooth"

Then there is card # 12 which is the Hanged Man and the symbol of WATER trine. Its Hebrew association is the letter Mem for "water"

The year 2012 featured a frightening aspect of Fire and Water which forms the alchemical marriage and the two trines of the Star of David. Male and Female powers combined.

One marriage that fulfilled or failed this aspect was Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise announcing their divorce. Scientology was rumored to play a part of Katies dissatisfaction because she is the one that filed. The Mother figure is angry and natures wrath is testament.

It seemed that the United States was under intense pressure from both elements with the Duluth flooding and more than 100 million dollars worth Northland infrastructure flooding.. You have the East coast shoreline rising and the 1,200 records broken this year for triple digit temperatures in 25 states. In Colorado Springs over 350 homes were lost in a foothills forest fire. Water and storm even knocked power lines down in Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia leaving millions without power and air conditioning.

What comes to mind is a Revelation verse

Revelation 16: 8,9 , And the fourth one poured out his bowl upon the sun, and to the sun it was granted to scorch the men with fire. And the men were scorched with great heat, but they blasphemed the name of God who has the authority over these plagues and they did not repent so as to give glory to him.

We also have what is considered the third Mayan Prophecy of heat wave and climate chaos blanketing the world and being part of the transition and upheaval as we are now in the year of the infamous December 21, 2012 approaching and the ending of this age according the the Mayan calendar.

Is this the stirrings of Apocalypse? I wish you safety and peace during this stressful summer. I am back from vacation right now after being the wilderness doing my meditations and will be getting back to responding to my inbox.

-Apollo

"An Apocalypse (Greek: “lifting of the veil” or “revelation”) is a disclosure of something hidden from the majority of mankind in an era dominated by falsehood and misconception, i.e. the veil to be lifted." — Wikipedia

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan

I'm currently in Madison, Wi.
Over the past 6 weeks has resulted in 0.3 of an inch of rain in total.
The heat has been breaking records left and right, on July 5th it was 105 degrees!

Corn is dying everywhere, lawns are totally toasted everywhere!
A few people have already died here in Wisconsin due to the heat, it has made the local newspapers here.

Crazy butt weather!

It's affecting more than just farmers, although they are more important in providing. I have a lawn care business..or had. There are no lawns to take care of, everything is dead/dormant. This week I was able to mow 1 lawn out of all of my accounts. Really shitty situation.

Thirsty Power Plants Hog Water

Often left out of the discussion on climate change is the effect that it will have on power production. 90% of US electricity production is dependent on huge amounts of water for cooling and steam, including all nuclear and fossil fuel power plants (though natural gas plants use less than coal). These power plants account for 40% of US freshwater use. In Europe these power plants provide 75% of power and use half the water.

exactly what I was wondering

besides tacking the farmers with more crushing debt
FEMA came into houston after ike and was giving out loans and grants like candy

only to (think it was) a year later to send people notices that they actually DID NOT qualify, and give the money back

I have 41 corn plants in my back yard, and I use Splenda, never high-fructose corn syrup because I am dieting.

So what other foods will this drought affect? Corn Pops, Kix, Fritos, Cheetos, Doritos, and popcorn. I am sure there are a lot more corn foods, and most likely a bunch of other foods as well.

Yep, and even back then, we still were able to provide enough food to feed America. America exports more food that any country in the world. The people that will suffer the most from this is the poor nations that depend our our food giveaways and exports.

I find it strange that the entire state of Texas is labeled because just last night on the news they were talking about the exaggerations being quoted on the abnormal heat. Basically what they were making fun of is saying that just because it's hot as hell everywhere doesn't mean there is a drought. In fact the rain amount in Texas has been almost normal just slightly below...

I'm not saying there aren't regions in Texas that are having drought symptoms but it is for sure not the whole state of Texas like the story is saying. With that in mind I wonder how far they are exaggerating this. But oh what the fuck this is GLP so DOOM ON THE WORLD IS DRYING UP
