Have you noticed any increase in "crop" goods this summer in your local area? Coffee (beans), wheat, dairy, corn, etc.? Are your grocery bills actually going up? Is this REAL DOOM? Have you noticed any price changes recently? Please do share your thoughts. Last Edited by Six Six Six on 07/12/2012 03:49 PM Biko |

Seems like the price increasing has already begun and "name" brands will likely rise faster. We need more data and input from others to see if this trend is legit across the board or more localized still. True economic food doom would effect almost everyone immediately. Biko |
Six Six Six (OP) User ID: 3753361 United States 07/12/2012 05:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well... it's not like a food shortage or massive food price increase across the globe effects anyone. This thread should clearly get no attention or discussion. I wonder how Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are doing? Now that's important! Biko |

It aint healthy for me, but I seasonal/sale shop, so it is difficult to detect true increases. But my jaw dropped when the store brand chili beans were on sale for $1.09/can and the shelf was empty. name brands were $1.70+ |

In fact, I give them way too much credit for using the words 'seriously' & 'sheep' in the same sentence. But really, they should be using this as a warning flag to stock their cupboards and freezers. But pfffft, they just think there will be big macs aplenty for years to come.. Yay for obama |

They have the small bricks for $2.50, tastes like folgers. Prices going up quickly. Most noticeable large increase to me is the ground beef going from $1.99lb in Dec. to $2.99lb for the last month. |

I'm surprised and concerned to hear that some prices on products might be going up already. I heard that many coffee crops were flooded this spring, not surprised that the premium brands are escalating. Anyone who cares to... please keep us informed. I believe we will see this increase very rapidly in the weeks to come. Biko |

Plenty of reserves. It's all a game to fleece everyone out of their money. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19490298 BUT... if actual corn stock supplies are depleted due to drought and record breaking heat... WHO will have acess to that stored surplus? The "common" sheeple or the ruling elite (1%)? Last Edited by Six Six Six on 07/12/2012 11:53 PM Biko |
