i just posted the below to your buddy 'christian' in another thread but you need to hear it too:
why can you not have a reverence and understanding of the grand design of the universe without it being filtered into a specific religion? what of the hindus? what of the bhuddists? what of the sikhs? is everyone cursed to eternal hellfire because they dont buy what you're selling? its illogical and ridiculous to eschew something as infinitely intelligent as the designer of the universe would be so petty. what about beings on other planets? do they have a jesus? are they going to hell?

Multiply that by an estimated 125 billion galaxies in the universe ... that's a lot of planets. take your pick. oh wait don't tell me, your amazing and all powerful creator and god who made the WHOLE UNIVERSE only chose to put life on ONE planet out of countless billions.
