Topic at hand: where would the ground battle be fought? Would they be attacking the US mainland or would the US be attacking the island? That factor alone places a huge advantage on one side or the other

I mean, I don't know how well the EU team would do against our military and 160 million armed citizens (most of which have prior military experience or lots of hunting/gun use experience) as well as the diversity of out terrain...on the other hand the US troops would probably suffer great losses if it attacked the island due to lack of good food alone (better pack a lot of MRE's)

Where did this idea come from? A huge percentage of Americans are of Scotch, Irish, and English descent. Except for increasingly minor political differences and the much greater U.S. freedom of and predilection for guns, we are so similar you might as well ask which brother is a better arm wrestler.
