Topic at hand: where would the ground battle be fought? Would they be attacking the US mainland or would the US be attacking the island? That factor alone places a huge advantage on one side or the other

I mean, I don't know how well the EU team would do against our military and 160 million armed citizens (most of which have prior military experience or lots of hunting/gun use experience) as well as the diversity of out terrain...on the other hand the US troops would probably suffer great losses if it attacked the island due to lack of good food alone (better pack a lot of MRE's)

I always think it nice you guys still allow us to continue speaking English... that is so kind and thoughtful..

But I always think it a shame that not one American I've spoken to in the last 30 years knows a single thing about the defences these Isles has built up over the last 2,000 years..

Although in this situation, if the US was to invade that would probably be highly advantageous.. otherwise it's nice to know there are still lambs out there in world ;)
