(Don’t get me started on the other “UFO documentary” series currently appearing on the History-2 channel, Ancient Aliens. That travesty makes Chasing UFOs seem scholarly by comparison.)"

I haven't watched any of the series, I have strayed away from television rubbish years ago and would rather read about this sort of stuff. Although, lol, I am an early victim of being intrigued to the Ancient Aliens series with the first season. Once the second season hit, I gave up!

It just all seems to glorified and manipulated to steer in ratings and entertainment. Quite impressive connections they make with a lot of the insight that is provided there. Oh how lies and manipulation proceed to successfully fool the masses... (Tsk, tsk)

First season of Ancient Aliens blew me away... Did not enjoy any of the seasons that followed and stopped watching....

The best UFO material to air on cable TV has been 2 documentaries on the History Channel....

The Chasing UFO Tards!

this correlates to an article I read a dozen or so years ago( prior to 9/11) about media being the # 1 field that people went into upon leaving the CIA

also remember it stating that many retired CIA/FBI reside in Castine, Maine and a few yrs later when watching Spielberg's Taken , when the Gov't guys ufo division was closed down he goes to Castine,Me.

"Chasing UFO's" is a fictionalized show about 3 "UFO Hunters". It's NOT about actual UFO research. Real UFO researchers don't poke around outside in the dark with cameras attached to their body to record their facial expressions. This show is just stupid and does nothing to further UFO research, conversely it makes it appear that persons interested in learning about UFO's are not so bright. 1 episode was enough for me.

you guys are mssing the point of the show i think. its entertainment. i dont think its supposed to portray real UFO research. if it is, then i agree with you whole heartedly, but otherwise, take it for what it is. its king of funny in my opiinion and the female member of the group is easy on the eyes so i watch it.

do you have any proof of the CIA doing this with these channels? How did you get that information? I'd like to read this myself. You all hate these shows, thats fine. I liked UFO Hunters-They got canceled for going to far. They were canned for the underground base episode. In which they showed the creature inside the cow etc. I do know that to be a fact. The billionaires who pay for commercial space etc did this. I liked it because showed actually cases etc. It was so people could see some of the evidence and then go "Research" for yourself. I like the Ancient Aliens show as well. Alot of it is mindblowing ideas. I don't believe all the stuff they say etc. Some of it is pretty good theories. I love the show because regardless of the alien theory, it's a great show for people to learn about alot of history and amazing places throughout history. That is the slick idea in the middle. Chasing UFO's is a pretty good show as well. Ofcourse they are not exactly in the middle of a case. It's a show, they merely are showing a case file and explaining theories and debunking methods for the watcher to understand. That way they can go research for themselves and come to their own conclusions. It's entertainment. I enjoy these shows. It's the only ones that attempt the Alien Theory. Regardless how great they are or not,...I'm glad to have them. With all the other Reality crap on tv,...i'm glad to have something sci-fi and something i actually have interest in.
