JNN Fukushima live camera caught yellow flash on 7/9/2012
JNN Fukushima live camera caught yellow flash on 7/9/2011. It was sunny in Fukushima.

The video looks very smoggy. Tepco live camera doesn’t show anything on the same time.

Another day another "Fukushima collapsed/exploded we're all doomed" thread.
Rumour has it that I was not born,
I just walked in one frosty morn',
Into the vision of some vacant mind.

Damn! You always treat me like a mountain, stranger.
Though I have never seen your shadows or fading lights,
I’m just a rock that you’ll be picking up through all your ages,
Always believing there’s a canyon for every blind.

well, since we're all aware that it's going to hell, let's just stop talking about it so that maybe we won't have to notice as it does.

right?

Another user had some video similar to this a while back, and after looking at that one (AND THIS ONE), The flash is the camera's computer changing either the white balance setting or it's exposure time. It was not anything originated from the units. So far, Every 'flash' video I have seen has came from the JNN camera. Keep in mind the camera is 30-35km sway from the plant. The haze, fog, and rain will cause the camera to periodically make adjustments, and you'll get disturbances in the picture like this. Example, Grab your home camera, and stand in the dark bathroom or whatever and point the camera at something. Flip the light on, and you'll notice a flash, an orangish/yellow picture, and it'll also try to refocus (MOST cameras)
