It's not anything I want anyone to know about right now. I feel you gotta do what you gotta do. Right?

It's dedication and fortitude, if you want to consider it honorable then so be it.

Thanks. I look at it as a short term pain for a long term gain. I am not exactly homeless. My wife and kids are at my home 450 miles away. I should be in a position to rent a house in a week or 2. hf

Hoo-boy.

The house I'm in right now has a leaky basement, built in the 20's, brick.

Trying to think of something easier then calling in a backhoe and seal-coating the outside of the basement walls.

Any suggestions ?

You'll make it, man...

Sounds smart to me.

Sounds like you have some kind of plan, and at least you have a roof over your head.

Just absolutely never give up...

Don't care about what others think either, but never give up.

Why not just run your business from your home? So then u don't need to dish out money to the commercial real estate people.

We did that too.

That is impossible in this business. trucks, equipment, materials....and w/ people spend $10K-$50K, they want to see a nice office, etc.

The other problem is my wife's work. she is committed until Oct.

So here I am. Thank goodness for GLP...and Jack Daniels.peace

Good for you. I had friends who camped out one entire summer after they sold their house. They saved enough to put a down payment on another one and were moved in by September. You gotta do what you gotta do.

I'm still living in my parents' house (paying low rent) even though I have a six fig sum saved up. Trying to figure out what to do with it so I won't have to rely on someone else for a paycheck.

More power to you....I have always thought that small businesses people are the most admirable people around.

Remember that the people who are the most successful are usually the ones who have made the most sacrifices.

Just stay your course and your efforts will be rewarded.
Definitely not made for this world--at least not this century.

...you are dangerous to everyone---not because you are ungifted, but because you embrace evil with your teachings. In so doing, in trying to be kind, to be unselfish, in trying to be nonjudgmental, you allow evil to become far more powerful than it otherwise would. You refuse to see evil, and so you welcome it among you. You allow it to exist. You give it power over you. You are a people who have welcomed death and refuse to denounce it. You are an empire naked to the shadow of evil. Terry Goodkind, NAKED EMPIRE
