I doubt the kids were literally 'playing' with it.
I can see the Dr's reasoning in letting the kids hold it or touch it, but taking photos is kinda over the top.
I mean, it was a human brain - not a party favor.
I've held hearts, uteri, ovaries, kidneys, lungs, intestines, vessels, brain tissue, (never a full brain, though) bones, tumors, etc from human bodies.
It's what I do.
We should always handle human organs with respect, and I'm not convinced these people weren't.
If it were my family member? I wouldn't like it.
