Yes, Jesus was raised a jewish and did what no jewish was able to do. Follow the Law perfectly. The Law was a tutor which reminded the jewish people that they were sinners and not able to keep the Law perfectly. That is why it was there. Jesus fulfilled the Law and then instituted a new one called the Law of the Christ which is based on LOVE. No longer were people enslaved to the Mosaic Law. We now have a savior in Jesus Christ. We could not save ourselves. And many who were once jewish people left to follow Jesus hence becoming Christians and were no long under compulsion to follow the Law because they had a new one that was better than the old one. Again, the Law of the Christ.
