Instead of the usual condenser discharges that are currently thought to be exploding meteorites thses days, what happened at Tungustka was an electric tornado from the Van Alen belts struck the Earth. I think we've had enough small events to consider the impact of a supersized CME, now that our lives are nearly completely dependent on electricity. Every small CME is a test to see if we're going to be able to handle a biggger blasts. Now if you want interesting - this is a large enough CME to test the theory of CME's prompting large earthquakes. If the theory holds - we'll see a 7+ quake within 72 hours.
