We have been following method 2. We have friendly neighbors, but we maintain OPSEC when it comes to this. One of my uncles and his family are also preppers though and are conspiracy minded. They live in the country and are all outdoors minded, are great hunters, and have a lot of farmland around them. They are way better off than me, as I live in a suburb with no land except my own backyard.

I am on very good terms with one of my neighbors, but don't know much at all about the rest of the people that live around me. So I maintain OPSEC.
