I live in a tiny 1100 sq. ft. house, with 50 acres. I'm
blessed.

What I've always thought was possible to escape renting, if you're not rich, is to replace vehicles second hand trucks and build your own paper crete hemp home on wheels, several trucks several homes for a family, over a few years. Lease some land, to live on and then buy some land, and gradually work up to the earthship home level, but you'd have legal homes and cabins. Anything on wheels is temporary. Why even bother with that? For the same price you could build a permanent home that's pretty reasonable in size.
