Why do I hate to take showers ?????

2 showers a day for me. Morning, to wake up. Night, before bed.

Everyday.

Too much?

My former husband only bathed twice a year. He'd fill the tub with tide detergent. Not kidding! I never once saw him take a shower. His skin got rough and scaley, cracked and bleeding in some places. His eye lids were red from mites. His beard smelled like a sour dish rag.

If you don't like showering, then take a bath. Everyday! If you're a hermit I guess it doesn't matter if you let your body rot but for the sake of those around you, for god's sake, take a bath!

Yes, he did die in his filth. Never even wore clean socks, underwear, clothes unless I insisted. Had an enlarged heart that I think was caused by heart worms. Same thing his dog died of. I left him before his demise over took him. He was a controlling brute, brutal physically to me, his son and animals.

You hate to take showers because when you were a small child you were outside and got lost or separated from your mother during a heavy rainstorm.
A shower now brings back the fear you felt as a child.
You must change the experience by playing a radio or singing in the shower. Or just takes baths…

Yes, do get a shower filter.My skin would get so dry from the chlorine and crap, because I like really hot showers, that I was miserable.
But the shower filter gets rid of all that, and now I am comfortable in my own skin again.

For real, that chlorine I can somtimes feel deep under my skin. I am clean enough but the shower without a filter does sorta make me inclined to wait till I need to shower. Hopefully for christmas I will get one :)

I hate showers! The soap and shampoo gets on my face and gives me pimples.

Most adults (teens too, for that matter) with acne could be cured if they switched to baths and kept soap and shampoo from getting unto their face.

I don't know your finances, but they really don't cost that much.You could probably spend more, but when I noticed the replacement filter was exactly the same for the cheapo as for the twice as expensive model, it seemed logical to go for the cheapo.
I don't recall exactly, but I think it was about 20 bucks.
