What I don't understand is, if a private citizen behaved this way he would be put under the prison (or worse). But a group of CEOs and top-level managers can get off Scott-free with a slap on the wrist and a simple apology. WTF?

HSBC huge crooks.

We paid off our credit card with them and canceled it. 8 months later we get a statement showing we owed for our annual fee. Now they are trying to get more money out of us for a card we long ago canceled and paid in full. After I read this they don't know whats coming to them. I work for a collections lawyer and we may sue for all money ever paid to them above the actual merchandise we charged. Plus harrassment because they call all day long now.

I am wondering if the change is why they are still trying to bill you the fee..I know I got a letter a few months back explaining the take over by CO of the accounts,etc.I dont think it fully went into effect until July.You may have a different type account because I have never been charged an annual fee and I have had the cards for almost 7 years.

i dare think how many lives have been shattered by the actions of this bank indeed all banks. i knick name the News the daily brainwash and am sure u can agree that what they are telling us on the TV alot more is happening behind the curtain i hope that this is the begining of the end of the tyrannical rule which grips are planet are home
