Yeah, does seem very fishy to me. The funny part is that they thought about moving to Leeds before deciding on Germany. If they think London is cold and wet, then Leeds, in the North of England, is going to be worse than London. Nothing seems to add up about their story.

Usually the competing athletes will actively spend more training in the place of an upcoming competition, especially if the location's climate varies from their own.

It only makes sense that if the concern was truly about a climate they are not accustomed to, then they would be spending more time training there in preparation rather than avoiding it.

I think that the "Olympics" was convenient to obtain tacit permission for the establishment of various weapons right in the midst of the civilian population.

I think the idea was to make it a normal feature of large hi-rise buildings.

On the surface it doesn't sound too clever to put large and heavy missiles on civilian architecture because it seems rather vulnerable. I mean I doubt the apartment buildings were designed for extremely heavy things to be parked on the rooves, and a real attacker would surely just blow up the apartment building or at least knock out a few support columns.
