Can anyone identify what kind of gov or military vehicle this might be?

if you play the video there are some closeup shots of the veh / kind of like a hazmat / hummer hybrid...no windows in the cargo section...driver looked a bit paranoid yesterday at 7:30 am...scanning the parking lot non-stop.

I reported 2 days ago on GLP about seeing small tanks and trucks heading out of Albq. going west on I 40. They were the same color of this truck...a sand color with no markings. Then the next day I was at the Santa Anna Casino which is right outside Albq. Two hummers with same basic sand color with no markings turned into the parking lot. I watched them cruise the parking lot then head west into Rio Rancho.

I found this very strange.

Yes, this thing caught my eye...never seen a vehicle like it before. UPS brown in color with no markings and appears heavily fortified with no windows in the cargo area. About the size of a fire dept Hazmat truck. Driver seemed to be slightly paranoid...scanning streets, etc...

Odd, that after the accident they would not divulge any information to authorities and MP's were not called out from Kirtland.

The hummers I saw did have bazooks in the back. The men in the cars had your basic sand, brown and green suits. But why at the casino????

Does it appear sealed? Like they wouldn't role down the window if you paid them? Maybe it's something to transport troops/equipment through contaminated areas.

Could your local representative or the governor be available to tell you what kind of government suv it is. They should know what is going on in your town if it is government business, don't you think?

Maybe they are transports used by the NSA or military.

the driver of the vehicle, as has been documented by news, would not divulge to law enforcement at the scene who the truck belonged to, and what they were carrying...only that it was a government vehicle...no specifics as to agency.

what happened to the truck and driver after the accident, how they were able to leave the scene without giving any information to le is not known?

my buddy is in the National Guard - Stationed locally, just back from Kosovo. He does not recognize this vehicle...never seen anything like it.

driver was plain clothes...not military issue. windows were blacked out in back - so could not see any others my best guess is that it may have been WHIP Hazmat transport security, as this accident occurred close the 1/40 eb and wb.

They didn't stop for lunch...no just a look see in the parking lot. I think by the way they cruised the parking lot it seemed they were looking for something.

I work as a Paramedic in Florida, and our Department has one of these vehicles. It is a temperature controlled (aka refrigerated/heated) cargo box on a medium duty crew cab Chevy/GMC chassis. It doesn't hold people (except for the 6 person cab), but cargo that is susceptible to temperature - aka electronics. Ours is a regional response truck that holds equipment, plus it also tows a trailer filled with radios and satellite equipment. It is basically used to augment a 911 center when one is overwhelmed in our regional area. It can also set up as a command center for field operations, when needed for large scale disasters.
Please know this is a terribly generalized description of the equipment, as it is pretty cool technology. Each region has a host agency and the host agency will decorate the vehicle and trailer as their respective design schema dictates. Our vehicle isn't anything secret, as it gets shown publicly often, most recently participating in the local Hamm radio field day.

Now, whether or not the vehicle in the video is used for the same purpose as ours, there is no way for me to know. I'm just familiar with the vehicle (not the coloring or specific cargo).

fairly common truck......
chevy or gmc kodiak crew cab, cab and chassis come fairly standard and customer can put most any component arrangement in the bed area...... ie: box truck, dump bed, flat bed, traditional pick-up truck bed.

The thing that gets me about this is that according to local news the driver was not cooperative with law enforcement...declared the veh was government issue, was not forthcoming in detailing any info as to what was contained in the veh.

No further info on the accident is available. Six people in the courtesy van went to hospital because of the crash.
