That was a parliamentary coup, and was totally unconstitucional, because it didn't respect article 17 of the Paraguayan Constitution, that talks about "criminal process or any other process that may originate sanctions".

Of course the Supreme Court of Paraguay was bribed too...

Well, in fact it was Fernando Lugo who was accused of being a "marxist" by the criminals who ousted him.

That is something that I did not know. It does explain a lot.

While researching that, I came across a story about Monsanto being a partner in the seed bank. What the hell good is a seed bank if it is full of Monsanto's GMO poison? They have a very expensive hole in the arctic permafrost that may be full of worthless GMO seeds. If they are planning on that feeding the post-apocaliptic world, they better not be hungery. A non-heritage seed will be worthless.
