The real shame is we are going to lose the only honerable politician to retirement this year. Enough people couldn't be woken up from their slumber to get RP elected. So now we get what we apparently wanted.

I was waiting for it.

But honestly should I write in Ron Paul, vote Gary Johnson or just stay home?

Ron was our best hope. Gary Johnson has the torch, but he will never get the support to even be invited to debates...unless we wake people up to what Libertarianism really is.

I admit...I have had less than respectful things to say about both of them...and I will probably one day regret it. Do your best, get out there and wake people up...get this guy out of office and don't allow his white clone to be elected to replace him...we can still make a difference...but time is running out. Libertarian is the key to our way of life and our hopes...please...share the simplicity of liberty and freedom...which is all that any of us want.

I've been weighing these options as well. Everyone knows that GJ and RP have no chance of winning, but it's more about voting your conscience. On the other hand, you could save yourself the trouble of going to the polls. We also know that Obama and Romney are the same, with Obama likely to win again.

I'm convinced we need a societal collapse. Maybe when enough parents have had their children sent to their deaths overseas, had their savings wiped out due to inflation and watch as the economy continues to worsen, maybe then people will see things differently. Then again, people probably still won't wake up. Bring on the collapse. Most everyone seems to be favoring collapse, whether they think so or not.

This is what happens when too many people become reliant on the state, either in welfare handouts or because some ass hat decided that creating a load of nonjobs in the public sector was a good idea to keep the 'jobless' figure down. At the moment in the UK the Labour party (socialist) helped create the fucking mess we are in at the moment, but because some may have their benefits reduced and people have been laid off, the 'majority' (i'lluse the term loosely here) think and want the silly fuckers back.
